Here is another sneak peek at another Crafty Secret's set! It will also be released after CHA. I just love this little dancer! I decided to make her a little tutu. I used black tulle off a large spool I bought over the summer. I cut a small piece and folded it several times. I took black thread and straight stitched it across the top. I knotted the thread and then pulled it to create a waistband. With fabric glue I positioned the skirt where I wanted it. The rest of this lil' gal was colored in with my Copics. The oval and star were cut using my Nesties. The paper was SU! and vintage music paper.
My thoughts and ideas for cardmaking and an occasional altered project!

A Sneak Peek!
Crafty Secrets has been creating the cutest darned stamps! They will be released after CHA at the end of January! This is one of the sets that will be coming out! I love that each image is so detailed and intricate. I found this little watering can in the dollar bin at Michaels and had to buy it! I thought it would be perfect for this set. I wrapped paper and vintage ribbon around it. The little images were each colored with my Copics and then very carefully cut out. If you are looking for scissors that do really fine cuts, I highly recommend the TAC scissors. (The Angel Company) It makes all the difference in the world!
I tied some pretty ribbon and stuffed some of this "stuff" in the middle. I don't know the name of it.........if you know, please enlighten me! : ) Wouldn't this be a perfect gift giving container for jewelry? Or a gift card?
The other DT gals have some fabulous sneaks too........
Have a great day!!!

I Know......
Christmas is over! But, I had some cards that somehow never got posted! I don't have a lot lately to post because I am working on some DT stuff and new releases that can't be shown quite yet! So.......bare with me while I post Christmas stuff! This was a card I created with Crafty Secret's Christmas Joy set. I colored the image in with my Copics and then cut the ornament out and added a ribbon to the top along with a button.
Thanks for visiting me today! Your comments brighten my day!!! : )

This is Right Up My Alley!
This week's assignment at Bitten by the Bug was to use the pencil cut on the Community Cartridge. I decided since I AM a teacher, that I would go a traditional route. So I pulled out my school themed papers and went to town! Even the ribbon is school related! As teachers we tend to send notes home all the time, so this will be perfect to add to my stash at school!
Check out what the other gals did at BBTB! Their creations are fabulous!!!
***** Hey, remember a few weeks ago, I had gotten my van back from the body shop? (I had been rear ended prior to that) Wellllllllll..............the saga continues! The paint on my brand new rear bumper is bubbling and peeling. Bare metal is showing. I called the body shop today and the guy was like, "Uhhh, geeeee, I don't really know how that would happen......were in another accident or something?" Um........NO! So now, I am trying to arrange ANOTHER rental van, so I can get this van in AGAIN! Can you say, " I HATE MY VAN!!!!!!" Ugh! ok, ok, ok.....enough venting.......I'm done. Thanks for letting me bend your ear! : )))))
