Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and MFT Blog Hop!

I am thrilled to be participating in the blog hop between My Favorite Things and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L!  I have loved these adorable penguins for some time and was so excited to get my hands on them! They are part of a set called, Penguins in Paradise. I used my Mini Misti and a bit of masking to create my scene. I colored the images using my Copic markers.  I even gave the one little guy a sunburn! Doesn't the other penguin look a bit exasperated?  Like he is thinking, "Why didn't he wear sunscreen?" 

I kept the embellishments to a minimum.  Just a few sequins (attached with DODZ™-mini)  and some Donna Salazar Grungie Girl Twine.  The image was adhered to the card using Crafty Foam Tape. 

My second card uses these adorable soda bottle dies! I inked each one with Tim Holtz inks and spritzed them with water.  I did the same to the background. 

I stamped the sentiment from MFT's Soda Pop set and added that to the center bottle. I adhered a scattering of rhinestones and sequins using DODZ™-mini. I used Crafty Foam Tape to adhere the panel to the card.

Hello Sunshine with PolyChromo Pencils! (And a bit of San Francisco too!)

Good morning my friends!

Before I left on my vacation I had created this card using a cute stamp set from Stampendous and my Polychromo pencils.  I sponged the edges with a light blue ink and added a sticker from SRM's Sentiment/Spring collection.

I also added a few sequins, glittery clouds, and a water colored sun.

To the very bottom of the card I added SRM's Sticker Stitches in black to help balance the card. 

We had such a great time in San Francisco! 

I took quite a few pictures, but of course, being the one who took them, I am not in too many!  But this one, our tour guide captured on our way to sunny, warm Napa.  As you can tell in the picture, San Francisco was anything but warm and sunny! It was quite cold and misty.  But I love the bridge behind us, with the heavy fog.......and of course me and the hubby snuggling to keep warm! ;)
