I bought some paper pads from Crafty Secrets and love them! They are quick and easy...no stamping required! I added some sepia crystal lacquer to the card. I stamped my leaves on Shrinky Dinks and adhered with glue dots. I added a "trail" with hemp cord. I did some stitching with my sewing machine and used Basic Grey's Mellow paper!
I was lucky enough to spend last Saturday with some of my stamping/blogging girlfriends....(see post from Monday!) Simone from Daily Dose of Spazz surprised me with a birthday present I am so "blessed" to have met her! She is so witty and funny, and makes me laugh! I can't believe how incredibly generous she is....just look at all the awesome stuff ! She knows I love vintage things, so she bought me this Life's Journey paper, clips, brads, alterable box, and composition book! Thank you so much Simone! Can't wait to play with all my new goodies!
I am so excited and am still amazed at the wonderful people I have met during this blogging adventure! Hope everyone has a great weekend!I'm crossing my fingers that nothing else breaks.....
