Did You Notice?

I got these cute stamps from Sophia over at Moonlight Inker. I love these Magnolia stamps! Did you notice that I added a mouth and nose to her? I got the idea from my good friend Simone over at Daily Dose of Spazz. It bothered her that these kids had no noses or mouths! So I gave her one for her birthday last month with a nose and mouth! You can see that card HERE. So I stuck with that idea! Anyway, I had to do some masking because the bench and her are two separate stamps. I colored the image with my Copics. I masked the images a second time when using my Copic airbrush. I don't remember who the paper is by. The border punch is by Martha Stewart. I used a few Prima flowers, some vintage ribbon threaded through the button, and my sewing machine!

The house is quiet......finally! I am watching my niece and nephew for a couple of days. My nephew is 2 1/2 and my niece is 8 months. My house looks like a toy factory blew up in here! We painted and colored and read books.......I am now exhausted! I guess that is why I only had 2 children! I love having them though and am looking forward to spending the day with them tomorrow!

I will be posting some blog candy soon.....AND I have some VERY exciting news to share with you VERY soon!

  4. so I want some of these stamps so bad but there is no place on the Magnolia site to find out what shipping is and I know I can pay with Visa but will I get charged a fee to convert to the other money? Is anyone in the states selling them that you know of? I think I want them all!!

  7. Hi Michele, Been having a look at your blog and you're so talented. I love what you do with paper, inks, stamps and embllies. Brilliant idea to add the noses and mouths to these stamps too. You'd never know they weren't on the stamps themselves xx
