The image was colored in with my new Martha Stewart watercolor markers. I think I need to practice a bit with these! The paper is by Memory Box. I added the Prima flower, button, and some pretty silk ribbon!
My thoughts and ideas for cardmaking and an occasional altered project!

New Treehouse Stamps!
This is one of the brand new sets that Ashley and Kristen (Treehouse Stamps) just released on Friday. I have always been partial to images of people from behind! As a matter of fact my hubby thinks I am weird because I constantly photograph him with my kids from behind holding hands and such. Maybe because he is so tall (6ft 4) and the kids were so little.....I don't know....just call me strange! I think this image just evokes the feelings of summer and nature. I can almost hear the birds singing and the fish jumping. Maybe it's just wishful thinking because this winter has been sooooo long!!!
Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI think it is a lovely card with beautiful colours.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! My dad started my fishing as soon as I could toddle!

ReplyDeleteThis card is sooo cute! Since you like images from behind does that mean you're looking at my behind when we get together to scrap?!! TE HE, I couldn't resist!!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a super job very nice.
ReplyDeleteVery cute card! You did a great job with the coloring! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that stamp...and what you did with it..wow...and I don't think your strange...some of my favorite pics of the kids ae ones that you can't see their faces in..
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this image! One of my favorite photos I ever took was of my 17 year old son sitting on the back of our boat helping his 7 year old brother putting on his first wakeboard. I took the picture from the front of the boat so it is just their backs. I actually get teary eyed when I look at it. So I know exactly what you mean about pictures 'from behind'. Amazing how much tenderness you can see. LOVE your card. Such a wonderful little scene!
ReplyDeleteYou did such a great job coloring this! I love the stamp and the image certainly evokes thoughts of childhood. Awesome card.
