I was all excited to do this week's Treehouses' Brainwave Challenge on Monday! I thought, " Oh good, I will actually be early for a change!" WRONG! This was LAST week's challenge! Duh! Also, does anyone know why when I copy the pics for the challenges, you need a microscope to see 'em? Anyway, this flower is from Treehouse's Home Grown set. I colored them in with watercolor pencils and added crystal effects and glitter. (No card is EVER complete without some type of bling!) The paper is mostly SU! (Pretty bright I know!) I cuttlebugged the top portion and cut some tiny butterflies with my Martha Stewart punch.
Can you even see this?! Sheesh!
This week's Brainwave Challenge uses the heart from the Home Grown set. The sketch threw me at first! It was a bit of a challenge for me! I used Basic Grey paper and some vintage lace. I stamped the hearts and cut them out. I placed the small pink heart directly on a frosted button. I tied string around it and added the sentiment, "Happy Me." Check out the other girls' cards.....
