Creating some lil' gifts!

With the economy being what it is....and money being a little tight....I am trying to create some homemade gifts this year. I usually have to buy for a ton of people that care for my daughter. I have 2 bus drivers, a teacher, 5 aides, occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech teacher, adaptive PE teacher, private PT, private OT, and technology coordinator. SHEESH! That is A LOT of people! I want to let them know how important their job is in the care of Cortney, but I can't see spending tons of money.....so the alternative? Write a nice note, and a little homemade gift, made by yours truly! This is a little notepad I picked up at the dollar store. I used a Crafty Secret's stamp set called Coffee & Tea. For the sentiment I added the word remember from the preinked words by JustRite.

Since the pen was green and the side binding was red and green and awfully hard to alter, I decided to make it easy on myself and just coordinate my paper to it! The paper is Graphic 45. I got this awesomely vintage paper from my friend Simone for my birthday. The image was colored in with my Copics. I added glittery "lip gloss" with my Spica pen. And of course, a lady wouldn't be complete without some pearl earrings!
Have a great day!

  11. Michelle,
This gift is beautiful. I know the people who care for Courtney will love this! i would much rather have a handmade gift, that people made for me than a store bought one. The time and love it takes to make precious is worth more than anything store bought...and your cards and projects are gorgeous. Happy Holidays! Chris
