A Heavy Heart.....

I should be posting a card or scrap LO, but it almost seems trivial. A good friend and fellow blogger, Joanne, passed away suddenly Friday night. She was part of our "Stampin Diva's" group. I met her years ago through my MIL at a SU! demonstration. My MIL became close friends with Joanne. It didn't take long for Jo to wiggle her way into my life and the lives of others. We started meeting once a month to stamp, chat, eat, and just be silly. So needless to say, her death is a huge shock. One that I don't think has even quite sunk in.

I guess the lesson here is to appreciate the people you love. Spend time with them, love them, and in the words of Tim McGraw, "Live Like You Were Dying."

I am honored to have known Jo. She was a sweet, talented, and funny woman and she will be greatly missed. You are with the angels Jo.................

  6. I know I could hardly believe it too, JOanne has been a great source of inspiration, comfort and support to me over the past months.
I think that she has touched everyone who has come into contact with her. Time is precious, life is hard and loss is great.
I never got to send my xmas cards to all my overseas friends and now I won't get the chance to send one to Joanne, so I think I have learn't a valuable lesson!!! We all need to make time for our loved ones and each other.
My heart goes out to you all.
