My son can be quite a character. He shows such leadership qualities, and definitely walks his own path. He doesn't try to conform to the people around him......he has his own mind. He is very comfortable with who he is. I am glad that he is such an individual.....although his "non-conformity" can be trying at times..... : ) He got this silly hat at Christmas and wore it alllllllll winter long. He could care less that it wasn't "in." He didn't care that he looked like Paul Bunyan! LOL! He is truly an individual that is destined to leave his mark on the world....... : )

What a great way to remember a special hat. I hope he keeps that individuality. It is so hard for kids these days. Great page.
ReplyDeleteGosh, are our boys alike or what! Now 20, Adam used to wear this hat all around too. One year he insisted in wearing the dragon costume I sewed him, complete with long tail and spikes. He work it all over the subdivision including the park playground. Treasure these moments.
ReplyDeleteGreat scrapbook page! I have a very individual (non-conformist)child as well.
