I wanted to post this card I made today using the newest stamp set by Crafty Secrets, called Mouse Party! (Available this Friday) Now normally, I don't really like mice, (they give me the heeby jeebies), but in a stamp set, they are pretty darn cute!
I used a new paper by October Afternoon called Ducks in a Row......I am in love with the soft colors of this paper. I colored the image with my Copics, masked the image, and did some airbrushing. (copic colors listed below)
I did add a pretty little Melissa Frances frame for the sentiment.
For the airbrushing I used the pale yellow around the mouse and balloon, the sky was done with BG000, and the grass with YG95. 
OK.....no more posts today! Off to physical therapy with Cort!
this is soooo cool. i love the shading behind the mouse on your card and, of course, the card is fabulous. nice set too. seems like mice are gonna be popular this year - as long as they're not in my house - LOL.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous card! I LOVE how you colored the background of the main image. Love the colors and papers of the entire card. So soft and pretty. Love the hardware around the sentiment, and the buttons/ribbon treatment too. Great card!
