I have tons of old photos that adorned my walls.....but as the kids are getting older, it is impossible to keep them all up. Unless you truly don't want
any of your walls to show! LOL! As I have been painting and redecorating, I've been going through old photos. It is so bitter sweet. My kids are teenagers and some days I can't believe that my babies arent' babies anymore. I know that is what is supposed to happen.....but it definitely tugs at my heart.....especially when I looked at this photo of Kyle and me.
He was 3 months old here and had a striking resemblance to Charlie Brown! LOL! His bald little head, chubby cheeks, and those dimples............ooooooohhhh those dimples! He even had that mischievous grin.....some things never change! I often have difficulty scrapping these 8 x 10 photos. I want the focus to be on the photo.....so I usually keep my embellishments to a minimum.
My little hand cut heart, stitching, and flower........
All of these papers and embellishments can be found in
Noel Mignon's Sonoma County kit. (Which BTW, there is only one left!)
My boy is a teenager now.....no more bald head or chubby cheeks.....just
lots of attitude .....and lucky for him.........those dimples!!!! : )
This is a gorgeous layout! What a sweet picture. They grow up so fast.

It is hard when your kids grow up. The nice thing is that they are so much fun when they grow up. Then when they have kids you can relive those fun "little" moments once again. Love your page.

ReplyDeleteSweet layout, don't you wish they could stay that little for just a bit longer? Thanks for sharing. ~Diane
