My Heart is All a Flutter!

Sometimes life throws ya curves. Sometimes it surprises you. And sometimes it just simply is the sweetest thing ever. It doesn't happen often, so when it does.........savor it.

I had a moment that made my heart swell the size of the blimp.......because of this boy, and this girl, my girl. This boy, came into Cortney's classroom, dressed in his best, and brought this poster that his mom helped him to make.
And these beautiful flowers and heart shaped cookie.
And my girl said yes.

    This is the best!! I am a mother of a special needs daughter. I was so honored when her day came to go to prom. It was a magical night for her & our family. She graduated in 2009. Enjoy the fun of Prom & great memories!!

    Omgosh.. how sweet is that!! Flowers to boot!!Awesome moment for all of you! If your like me, you'll be at the craft store immediately picking out embelleshments for the awesome prom night pics to come. LOL. Any ocassion to feed my addiction.. but Prom is an extra special one.

    Oh, Michele, this is just the sweetest story ever! It made me feel warm all over (which I really didn't need as it's 90 degrees today and I suffer from hot flashes!). I'm sure your daughter was touched and thrilled to be going to what's probably her first prom. And good for that boy for being so gallant and debonair. Now, HIS mom knows how to raise a boy! :o) Thanks for sharing this momentous occasion.
