Good morning and Happy Fourth of July weekend to you! I am excited that our parade and fireworks are tonight. I live in a suburb right next to Chicago and every year when they have our parade, it gives our community a small home town feel! And the fireworks are right down the street at our park, so we just sit on our patio and enjoy. Cort loves them too! : )
So to celebrate, I have a $25.00 credit to give you at Cricut.com to spend any way you want! PLUS, 2 Cricut magazines to one lucky winner! I am honored to have projects in both and would love to share them with you! : )
So what do you have to do? Become a follower if you are not already, and leave me a comment telling me what your weekend plans are! Thats it! Easy Peasy! Your chance to win will close on July 4th at 10PM CST. I will announce the winner Tuesday morning.
Have a wonderful holiday weekend! : )

I have been a follower for a year or more. I would LOVE to win as I am brand new to Cricut and need all sorts of "stuff"!! I do have seven cartridges already. I've only had my Cricut one week. I'm ready to go for it!! Weekend plans are spending Monday & Tuesday with my aged parents 200 miles from here. Just want to bring cheer and courage to their lives.
ReplyDeleteWe are having family over for a picnic and then I am going to work on my pennant! Happy 4th everyone!
ReplyDeleteAlready a follower! =)
ReplyDeleteWe have company into town and we are going to barbecue, swim and be merry all weekend long!
I love Independence Day! I plan to gather with friends at their house and watch fireworks from the deck in a mosquito free environment as I hug a few veterans! I was asked to bring a treat to share and it just might be a birthday cake - if I can bring myself to fire up the oven on this hot sticky day!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th holiday to you and all!
ReplyDeleteI love the 4th, the true meaning, family, friends, fun, & fireworks!!! Our fireworks are set off atop the college a few miles from us, so we park around their baseball diamond for the perfect view and snuggle.
Yep, we really do snuggle, not bad for being retired (lol)! Alot of ooooz & ahhhhs for the perfect evening.
And if it's a rainout here, we enjoy watching firework displays around the country on tv.
Happy Safe 4th to all!!
We are having family over, lots of great food and plenty of fun just talking, spending time together and swimming.
ReplyDeleteMy plans are to get my scrapbooking room organized, again, and to get the pennant done to send for the CHA Road trip event..
ReplyDeleteAnother one 'l' Michele...I love it! We are hitting the pool this weekend and maybe a baseball game! Thanks Michele!

This weekend we BBQ and swim with family and friends. On the fourth we watch the local parade but no fireworks for us this year ~ too dry. Have a gwonderful and happy fourth of July.
ReplyDeleteTonight we're going to the local winery for a BBQ dinner on the hills of Swisher, IA. Saturday morning is the Downtown Market. Later Saturday we head to Iowa City for the Jazz Festival. Amazing talents coming to Iowa! Sunday, the Boat Club has a fantastic fireworks display on the river bank and there's picnicing too. Then, on Monday, it's off to downtown Cedar Rapids again for the Freedom Festival. Music, food, games, patriotic displays, & people--all topped off with fireworks that are over the top! I love small town living too.
ReplyDeleteI am already a follower:) My plans for the weekend are to spend some time having fun with my family!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity. I want to save up Cricut.com for Membership Renewal 2012! Our city cancelled its' Annual Old Fashioned July 4th Picnic and Fireworks this year. It is causing quite a stink and I fully expect it to return next year. Our city turns 100 in 2012 and I think there will be a huge celebration for it. Hubby and I are going to take a long bike ride. We will start at Redondo Beach, pause in Venice Beach and hopefully make it to Santa Monica. The weather should be beautiful. After that I am sure a nap will be on the schedule! We both love to cook so we will BBQ, I am craving chocolate chip cookies so I will use the excuse of a holiday to make and eat them! I am sure we will squeeze in a movie. Want to see Larry Crowne. Since Monday is a worknight, we will likely go to the Redondo Beach Pier to see the Firework show over the water and call it an early night. Enjoy the Red, White and Blue, Fly those colors and be safe everybody! ~in friendship, Linda V --- The Tulip Collector
ReplyDeleteWe are having our 2nd Annual 4th of July Pig Roast! Lots of family and fun! Have a great 4th your self - thanks for the chance to win!

I am actually sad because our town is NOT doing fireworks this year... not in the budget they say. We have been going to see them every year since we bought our house and our children have been there every year since they were born. Needless to say they are sad too. We will be going to my SIL's house where will be able to set off our own fireworks since it was just legalized. My DD's have never experienced that so I guess that will be fun. :) Happy 4th to you and your family!!
ReplyDeleteLori

ReplyDeleteWe will be having a quiet holiday. Our son has autism and unfortunately the fireworks really freak him out. So we will be as far away from them as possible...probably doing his favorite thing...bike riding.
