Valentine's Day is right around the corner......and I have a few projects to share with you before then! Today's card is one I created awhile back for the
Circle Blog. It uses papers I printed off my Imagine using the
Vintage Papers cartridge. I love all of the papers on this cartridge, and the best part is, you can scale the pattern to any size you like! I love that for card making! After my papers were printed I ran them through my Cricut Expression and cut the hearts using the George and Basic Shapes Cartridge. The Flowers were cut using the
Rose/Carnation quilling kit.
I added a bit of seam binding, a vintage button, and some rose trim in the background.
Be sure to check back tomorrow for a special post! Have a great day! (Albeit a bit soggy here in Chicago! From snow to LOTS of rain! )
beautiful card I love how much detail you have put in to it
ReplyDeleteI love this card. I have some rose trim that a friend sent me in cream. I bet your trick to dye seam binding would work with these trims. I will have to experiment. The layout of this card is fabulous. Your flowers are always gorgeous. Love this one too.
ReplyDeleteTotally gorgeous! Wow!
ReplyDeleteLook at all these yummy vintage layers! Amazingly rich and yet very delicate. A jaw-dropper, for sure!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous card! I love every single scrumptious layer! Thanks for sharing...

ReplyDeleteI just love your work and this card is no exception. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteSo Beautiful! I love the colors and the text paper used in the flowers! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I like the idea of printing papers with the imagine and cutting with the expression. The little border the imagine leaves can be annoying sometimes. I saw your dress form card in the new cricut magazine and it was really beautiful. I just got word that one of my pieces got accepted for publication in july! Thanks for being such a huge source of inspiration to me : ).
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Rebekah
