Easter Cloche

I can't believe that my spring break is coming to an end shortly....how fast those days off flew by! Not that I am complaining one bit, I am fortunate to have a job that allows for such luxuries! I am sitting here listening to the sound of our fence being put up in the backyard and my little dog going crazy with the intrusion! ; )

I have a little altered project to share today that I believe is called a Cloche. If I am incorrect, please let me know! I had bought these little ones from Emma's Paperie. They are by Melissa Frances and are as cute as can be! I had a paper mache' egg that I painted in a soft pink and rolled in German Glass Glitter. I nestled it in a bit of grass and some moss. The top was tied with a bit of silk ribbon and crocheted flower was attached.
I placed the egg in a little tart tin that I had lined with a bit of lace.
I have this little beauty sitting on my dining room hutch........

So did I drive you crazy with my error yesterday?  It wasn't the upside down bow.....because that was done intentionally.....it was the green buds.....they should have been cut with the white paper.....and I made them green.  ; )  I am glad it wasn't an easy mistake to spot! LOL!
Have a great weekend!!!

  9. Your cloche is stunning, and yes, that would be a cloche. Love the egg....so what's the difference between glitter and german glitter? Had to go check out yesterday's "mistake", you never would notice it really unless it's pointed out! You make some beautiful crafts! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
