I love this time of year.....October, changing leaves, cups of hot cocoa, warm blankets, snuggling, and decorating for all of the upcoming holidays. This weekend I decorated my house for Halloween. I decided to make a few of my own decorations for the fireplace mantle. I took the Crafty Secret's Creating With Vintage Halloween CD to print some of the papers to place in a frame. I cut some black vinyl images using my Cricut to place right on top of the glass. They are so quick and easy to make!
I made some rosettes using my Cricut and placed them in old spools. I used the Halloween Labels stamp set and my Copic markers. I added some glitter and string to dress it up.
I created an apothecary using alcohol inks and a recycled bottle. I used shades of purple with a bit of silver mixed in. Again I used the Halloween Labels stamp set by Crafty Secrets. I tied a bit of fuzzy twine to the top.
Be sure to pop on over to the Crafty Secret's blog for their linky party! It's such a great way to meet new bloggers and see what they are up to!
Have a great Monday!!!
