I have to start this post off with an apology. I told you I would be hosting a giveaway this weekend.
And I didn't. I couldn't for the life of me get my act together.
I was preoccupied with "house" stuff, "kid" stuff, and "school" stuff. The weekend came and went, and I suddenly realized I hadn't posted what I said I would post.
I am still planning on a giveaway, but I need to take pics of what I have, and get it uploaded here.
So I apologize for once again being a huge slacker!
I do however have a card to share with you today.
This watering can is from the Crafty Secret's Gardening Digital collection.
I colored it with my beloved Inktense pencils.
I added a rolled flower and several miniature flowers in my stash. I backed the image with several Spellbinder's dies. (Circle, Scalloped circle, and Pinking Shear).
I added a pink doily cut using a Papertrey Ink die.
As a finishing touch, sequins, and a tulle bow were added.
Here is a bit of what I was up to this weekend.
I had these glass cabinets that were dark.
No one could see the dishes in there unless it was a bright sunny day.
My husband and I replaced the wooden shelves with glass ones. We then installed lights.
I added pretty yellow fabric to the back and voila!
Now it's a cabinet that makes a statement instead of hiding in the weeds!
Thank you for putting up with me!
:)
Oh my gosh, I have those exact cabinets!!! What a fantastic idea you had!!! It really does make a HUGE difference!!! I know what is in my kitchen's future!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the card, and the more I see of the Inktense pencils the more I want them so bad!!! Our Hobby Lobby only has the 12 count and I know I'll not be happy with such a limited color palette!! LOL!!
