I have an Easter basket to share with you today.
I found these boring, brown paper mache baskets at Michaels and decided with a bit of paint and some glitter, they could be spectacular!
I painted it a Robin's Egg Blue. After is was dry I brushed on some Modge Podge and sprinkled it with clear German glass glitter.
I tied ribbon around it and added this pretty vintage egg from the Crafty Secret's Victorian Floral Easter Eggs collection.
The eggs and edges were dipped in glue and then the glitter. I tied a bit of lace and added this bird's nest. It was a perfect match!
I made a pink one too, but didn't get a chance to photograph it. Maybe I will have to share it tomorrow. ;)
Have a blessed Easter!
Hugs my friends!
Your basket is too cute! I love all the sparkle. Happy Easter.

ReplyDeleteFabulous! So stunning. I was surprised you bought the baskets at Michaels, I thought they looked like the little basket fruit comes in and you altered those.
