Shabby Hello

Good morning! I have a shabby vintage card to share with you using a digital image from Crafty Secrets.  It is part of the Flower Garden     collection.  I colored the image with my Zig Clean Color Markers.  The image is not on water color paper, but because the area I was coloring was so small, it worked just fine. After coloring the image I inked the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in frayed burlap.

I added a gold sentiment sticker. The soft blue patterned paper is also from Crafty Secrets and is part of the Birds and Blooms digital collection.
And isn't the silk ribbon yummy?  The ribbon can be found at the Stamp Simply store.  I decided to let the ribbon drape and added a  glittery heart to the center.

  1. The way you did the 'hello' with the gold string and added the long bow with the little gold heart really adds charm to this pretty card Michele. Now I can't wait to see what you do with the new Roses and Sunflower sets!

    Thanks for sharing

  2. Oh, Michele, this is so stunningly beautiful, yet not overly elegant. You know -- not stuffy. Just so pretty! Love the gold "hello" sticker.
