Good morning! I am up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog with a spring egg shaped card!
I used multiple adhesives to complete my project as well as some other fun items from some of my other favorite companies! The egg shape was cut using my Silhouette. The background stamp is by JustRite called Honeycomb. It was embossed in white and given a bit of color using Tim Holtz inks. I added pretty silk ribbon from the Stamp Simply store and a sentiment from SRM Stickers.
For a finishing touch, I added a couple of posies, tiny eggs, and a few sequins.
I successfully stripped all of the wall paper in Cort's room this week. I ordered her bedding and am planning on painting her room over the weekend. It feels good to clean and spruce up her bedroom! She will be so surprised when she comes home over Easter.. ;)
We are heading out to see her on Sunday for lunch.
I can't wait to hug and kiss my girl!
She is doing really well....staying very busy and making lots of new friends!
I get a run down every day I call. They are so great about taking pictures throughout the day too.
They are even talking about having her join the swim team there! Then she will be able to participate in special olympics next spring.
She is adjusting well.
If I know she is happy, then I am happy.
:)
Have a wonderful Thursday!
Очень красиво!..нежно и ласково,как сама весна ;))

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, as always! Glad to hear Cortney is doing well and that she is making friends. Much easier on you when you know she's ok. It's a big job for you to strip wallpaper and paint, but Cortney will be thrilled when she sees it!
ReplyDeleteMichele, your card is beautiful. I have pinned it as I would like to try something similar to send to my parents for Easter. TFS!
ReplyDeleteAlso, thrilled to hear that Cortney is adjusting well. I felt that she would, no doubt better than you yourself, as we Mother's really do have separation anxiety when it comes to our babies! Glad you can surprise her with a fresh & pretty new bedroom while she's home! YOU'RE a rock star!
such a sweet and pretty card! So good to hear all is going so well, enjoy your time with her!
