Whale of a Time! New Release!

I have another card using Whimsy Stamp's Whale of a Time!  For the background I used the new Speckled Heart Stencil and Nuvo Glimmer paste.   Once it was dry, I sponged a bit of Picked Raspberry Distress ink to the edges. 

I stamped the whale image and colored it with Copic Markers.  I fussy cut it out and added white speckles using a white gel pen. I used Crafty Foam tape to adhere it to the stenciled background.  I glued a few of the clear droplets and gold pieces around the whale from the Sparkletz-Coral Coast.

I stamped the sentiment in black and used the new Quick Strips Die set.  I love that it adds a little interest with the faux stitching. I tucked it under the whale, added a bit of gold cording and a teeny posy.
