Haunted Herald!

Can you believe it is September already?  You know what that means?  It is time for Whimsy Stamp's new release!  These Halloween products have been so much fun to create with.  :)  I used the Canvas embossing folder on purple paper and then swiped it with black ink.  That piece was adhered to the black A2 card.  The trees are part of the new Old Bridge Die set.  There were cut twice.  Once with a dark green card stock and the second, with black card stock.  I adhered them together but staggered so the black could peek through.  I splattered it with some white paint.  I stamped the Spell Book onto white card stock, fussy cut it,  and masked off the edges.  I then stamped the new Haunted Herald Stamp set over it.  I added a bit of color using colored pencils.  I die cut some ghosts from the Ghosties Galore die set.  I added a bit of shading with Copics.  The moon is from the Howling Night die set.  I assembled all of the pieces onto the card and adhered it with Crafty Foam Tape.

A little side view.  :)
I will more for you this week as Stamptember is right around the corner! ;)

A Variety of Halloween Cards!

Hello friends!
I have a few cards to share with you today! Since being back at school I am finding it difficult to find time to post.  So I thought I would do a few cards at once!
My first card uses a variety of Whimsy Stamps papers and dies.  The background paper is from the October Nights 6 x 6 paper pack.  I cut it out using the Build a Marquee die set.  There were a couple of extra pumpkins on the left over paper that I fussy cut out and tied a bit of twine at the top.  I added a few ghosts from the Ghosties Galore die set, and the pumpkins I had cut out.  I tied some ribbon at the top to finish off the card.
This little witch is part of the Halloween Spells stamp set.  I stamped her in black and colored her with colored pencils.  I cut the image out with the Deckle Layers die set.  I inked the edges and layered it over another layer that uses purple card stock.  It was layered over black cardstock. I tied a purple bow to the top to finish off the card.
My next card uses the Spell Book die set.  I colored it with Copics and inked the edges in black and dark brown.  It was cut out and Grit Paste was added to the edges.  Once dry, I added Distress Crayon in black and a bit of Statue Foundry Wax. I used the Deckle Edges die set in two sizes.  The polka dot paper is from the Vintage Carnival Paper pack.  The edges were inked in black and all of the layers were added to a black card base.  I tucked in some Mummy cloth here and there and added the spider to the binding of the book.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week!
