Bitten By the Bug!

This week's challenge over at Bitten by the Bug was to use the Number sign on the George Cartridge. I struggled with this card a bit. I was up late last night trying to get it right , when finally I gave up! It is, what it is! The DP is by K & Company. I stamped a Lockhart image on a Shrinky Dink. I colored it in with my Copics and then punched it out with my Marvy Heart Punch. When it was shrunk, I threaded it through a jump ring and dangled it from the ribbon.
I guess since I hadn't worked with Shrinky Dinks in awhile, I forgot that the colors get much darker when they are shrunk down. Maybe that's what I don't like? The strawberries are much darker than I would've liked! Oh well......now I know! Head on over to the BBTB site to see what the other girls came up with! Their creations are just gorgeous!

    Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! For sharing such a cute card that uses Shrinky Dinks! I bought a pack that was on clearance a couple of months ago and then just look at them, trying to think of how to incorporate them into a card. I can't wait to give this a try!

    Totally lovin' the card. I actually pulled out my shrinky dink sheets a couple weeks ago, when I got a new stamp set. I've had fun playin' around with it. I use my sizzix to cut out shapes and then stamp in black. Then I color after I shrink it and spray with a clear acrylic spray. I'm working on a keychain right now!
