Bitten By the Bug!

This week's challenge over at Bitten by the Bug was to use the Number sign on the George Cartridge. I struggled with this card a bit. I was up late last night trying to get it right , when finally I gave up! It is, what it is! The DP is by K & Company. I stamped a Lockhart image on a Shrinky Dink. I colored it in with my Copics and then punched it out with my Marvy Heart Punch. When it was shrunk, I threaded it through a jump ring and dangled it from the ribbon.
I guess since I hadn't worked with Shrinky Dinks in awhile, I forgot that the colors get much darker when they are shrunk down. Maybe that's what I don't like? The strawberries are much darker than I would've liked! Oh well......now I know! Head on over to the BBTB site to see what the other girls came up with! Their creations are just gorgeous!

  13. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! For sharing such a cute card that uses Shrinky Dinks! I bought a pack that was on clearance a couple of months ago and then just look at them, trying to think of how to incorporate them into a card. I can't wait to give this a try!

  14. Totally lovin' the card. I actually pulled out my shrinky dink sheets a couple weeks ago, when I got a new stamp set. I've had fun playin' around with it. I use my sizzix to cut out shapes and then stamp in black. Then I color after I shrink it and spray with a clear acrylic spray. I'm working on a keychain right now!
