Creative Scraps from
Crafty Secrets! It makes cardmaking so easy, the images are so beautiful, and there is no coloring involved! I decided to play along over in the
CS forum at SCS. This week's challenge was to use embossing on your card, so........I chose this sweet image of children looking for Santa........in a plane! Don't
all children look for Santa in a plane? I used the cracked glass technique for this image. Stamp entire image with Versamark, sprinkle with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder, heat and repeat about 4 times. Stick the embossed image in the freezer, and let 'er crack!
The paper is by My Mind's Eye. I used snowflakes by Making Memories and glitterfied the cream colored one. I just spread some glue on it with my finger and sprinkle the glitter on top of it. The satin ribbon is by Papertrey Ink.
There is obviously a bit of glitter mixed in my UTEE.......but I kind of like how it looks!
I am taking tomorrow off to get the carpeting installed in my living room. Then it will be time to wash everything in the curio cabinet and get everything back to its proper place. It will feel good to have it all clean and ready for the holidays!

Gosh, this did make such a pretty card! I love the little bit of glitter in the UTEE. Love the idea of embossing these Crafty Secret images. I've seen it done a couple of times recently and it's got me very inspired. Your Christmas image with the glitter is especially cute!
