Pure Joy!

Good morning! Noel Mignon is hosting a new Fall Trend's challenge! This time it was a color challenge based on THIS picture. Love all the Earth tones in the photo. I decided to scrap these photos of Kyle riding a horse this summer while we were at French Lick, Indiana. (Yes, that is a real place....I didn't make it up! LOL) And if you look closely you will see his dorky Mama (me) next to him on the horse with my helmet on. (I have to be a responsible parent don't I and set a good example?) I used Noel's newest kit, Sweet Sue. (only 12 left!) I did use my Cricut machine to cut the title and the circle as well as Glimmer Misting the background. The stars are SU! punches.

This stick pin, which I believe is Maya Road, was originally clear, I stained it with brown alcohol ink. It fits the mood of the page better, than if I had left it clear.
Here is the envelope that houses my journaling.
And here is my son, without his helmet, on the first day of school. 8th grade. Sheesh. Seriously, where did the time go? Watching children grow is so bittersweet.
Be sure to check the other DT gal's work! They are sure to knock your socks off! I hope you have some time this week to play along! I'd love to see what you created based on these awesome fall colors!
