Does anyone know the proper spelling for these Victorian Coronets (or is is cornet?)???? Well is doesn't matter because I am loving them! My kitchen is a cranberry red so I thought this would go perfectly! I used the Cotton scraps from
Crafty Secrets as the main image. I used buttons, Spanish moss, a Heidi Swapp Ghost snowflake covered in gold glitter, pine cones, an ornament, vintage lace, rhinestones, a Making Memories epoxy tag, and some floral picks.
This is truly beautiful, I love all the glitter
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just a cool cone thingy? There ya go...easy to spell too!
Based on the following definitions my guess is CORNET (similar to a trumpet shape).
ReplyDeleteFrom Wikipedia:
A coronet is a small crown consisting of ornaments fixed on a metal ring. Unlike a crown, a coronet never has arches.
The cornet is a brass instrument that visually resembles the trumpet.
Whatever you call them; this one is beautiful!
