A Good Laugh at My Expense!!!

Go ahead.....laugh! That is me pretending to have graduated in the 70's! Man I wish I really had that head of hair! Why the goofy photo you ask? Noel gave us a link to Yearbook Yourself and asked us to create LO with our new look! It is a fun site that will take you from the 50's through the 80's. (Think BIG hair! LOL) I decided on this one because my head didn't look too goofy! My journaling is actually remembering my child hood in the 70's. (Click on the photo and you can read it.) Aaaaahhhhh, those were the good old days! I used Noel's Homeroom kit for this LO! (LOVE THIS KIT!)

UPDATE*** I went to the dermatologist today. The doctor feels that the lesion on my face is indeed skin cancer. They took a biopsy today and I will get the results next week. They also cut and cauterized it today too. Hopefully he will get it all out and I won't have to worry about it. My cheek is a bit sore tonight and I will have to wear a band aid to school tomorrow. So I am sure the kids will be asking me about my band aid all day!

Have a great hump day!!!

  1. 1972-my senior photos-looked just like yours. we all looked the same except the girl who decided to look like an idiot and shave her head. Boy was she ahead of her time.

Sorry to hear the Dr thinks it may be skin cancer. I'll keep my fingers crossed you and hope for the best for the results.

  3. I wish I had that hair too when I was young! Very funny!

I am so happy you got in to see a dermantologist Michele!! I have very fair skin and also had a skin cancer patch on my cheek, near my ear. It was Basal Cell. I visit the dr. every six months to be checked out. I have to with my risk factors....Redhead (well, not so much anymore), fair skin, blue eyes. I have suspicious stuff removed all the time! Everything will be ok. I'm glad you're on top of this! I'll be praying for you. I know how hard it is to wait for the biopsy news. Have faith.

    Hugs,
    Amy
