As you know I celebrated my anniversary this past weekend, and over the years, Brian has come to expect a homemade card. I simply can not go to Hallmark anymore......it is just unacceptable! ; ) So in the midst of my DT assignments, I decided to make him a card. I found this pretty Crafty Secret's image. It is part of the Creative Scraps collection called Love Mail. I framed it using a Lacy frame from Spellbinders. I airbrushed it a bit and added pearls to the corners. I added a Jenni Bowlin felt butterfly, some seam binding, and a stick pin to finish it off.
Of course my husband told me the card was a bit "girly" for him.......yea.....maybe he's right! Too much pink? Glitter? ; )
He did however, appreciate the sentiment.......which I did indeed mean.........The sun is shining and the temperatures are finally summer like! OH! and only 8 days left of school!!! IT doesn't get much better than this! Have a wonderful Wednesday!!!!
