Grant me the Serenity....

Sometimes life can get crazy and stressful. Sometimes I know I feel a bit out of control and overwhelmed with things. Logically, I know I can't change certain things, I know I need to accept them and move on. But sometimes, the emotional side of me kicks in and all logic is out the window! KWIM? So when I got this Serenity Prayer from Crafty Secrets, I knew I wanted to make a card with it right away. I think I need to send it to myself! : ) The paper is Basic Grey's Porcelain. I also used vintage book paper. The tag was distressed using coffee grounds and Glimmer Mist to give it some shimmer. I am in love with flowers these days and knew I had to use them here.

    I love your card Michele. My Grandma left me a cross stitch picture with this prayer on. It certainly puts things into perspective. Your card is gorgeous. In fact all of your work is. I'm going to have to follow your blog now :o)
