Becca Feekin's Amazing Paper Grace Kit for October!

Good morning to you!  I am excited to share a few things I've created using Becca Feekin's October kit!  It is drop dead gorgeous and a total must have!  I adore the fonts, the sayings, the concept of this kit, and the beautiful vintage feel to it. I stamped the saying in olive ink and used various Spellbinder's dies to frame the saying.  My hubby bought me a Silhouette for my birthday.  ( I know I am totally "cheating" on my Cricut....but a girl can't have too many toys can she? ; )  So I downloaded a bunch of the flower cuts and used it for my card.
A few pearls and bit of ribbon finished it off.
Here are the coordinating dies.
And Becca's set in its entirety. SWOON!
I love the fact that the stamps and coordinating Spellbinder's dies are perfect for covering the ends of spools.  I decided to create a mini photo album using my spool.  I cut a length of paper to fit, and adhered mini photos to the inside of the paper.  I just tied it closed with a pretty lace ribbon.

Just untie the lace and you have your photos hidden inside!  A little trick is to print the photos on regular paper instead of photo paper.  It makes winding it around the spool a whole lot easier!
Be sure to check out what the other designers have created for this month's kit.....they are all stunning!
Have a great day my friends!!!

  4. How exciting to get a Silhouette! Maybe you'll tell us the pros and cons between that and the Cricut? Is it easy to learn to use? I have a Cricut but would like a Silhouette too. By the way your card is lovely ~ like always.

  9. The spool is inspired. It's like microfilm of photos only a lot prettier.
