Buckle Up! 8, Yes 8 Cards to Share Today!

Hello friends!
Don't faint, but I have 8 cards to share with you today!
My sweet MIL who passed this past July loved giraffes.  She collected them, and I inherited some of them.  When I saw this new Quick card set, Heartfelt Giraffes, from Whimsy Stamps, I knew each image had to be made into a card.
The first two cards uses the Wavy Pierced Rectangle dies.  I used Tim Holtz's Metallic Jewels Kraft Cardstock.  I sanded the edges and then inked them up with brown ink.  I added some die cut hearts from the new Field of Flowers die set. Red Twine was added to each and a sentiment to finish off the cards.

The next 5 cards use the Mix and Match Scallop Rectangle Dies.   I popped up some of the panels with Crafty Foam Tape, added a sentiment and a ribbon.
The next four cards are similar to the one above, but I did incorporate more of the Tim Holtz Metallic Kraft paper.  I also changed the ribbon to twine and some coffee stained red ribbon.

This last shaker card was so fun to make! I added a layer of the acetate behind the frame, added my shaker beads, a scattering of hearts and some coffee stained ribbon.
One last look at all 8 cards!  I LOVE this set so much!!!

Thank you for stopping by!
Check out Whimsy Stamp's new release! I will be back soon with other creations from this release.

Last Minute Christmas Cards

Hello friends!
I am knee deep in cooking today for Christmas Eve.  I am taking a little break to post a few Christmas cards I created.
This first one was made using Whimsy Stamp's Quick Cards, Woodland Santa.  I know I say this every time, but these images are so beautiful.  But I gotta be me and fancy it up a bit more.  I created a shaker card using the Inverted Scallops Die.  The frame was adhered to acetate and popped up with some crafty foam tape.  I finished it off with some rustic twine and a couple of jingle bells.
My second card is so silly and fun and uses the Snow Over it! Living in Illinois, we have already had a ton of snow and super cold temps and it's only December!  How will we survive another 3 months of this? So this was a card after my own heart for sure! I created a scene with all of the images. I used the  Polka Dot Stencil for the background along with some snowflakes die cut from the Elegant Snowflakes and Border Die set.  I finished the card off with twine. :)
Have a very Merry Christmas!!
Thank you for always stopping by!

Whimsy Stamp's Quick Cards

Hello friends!
Busy, busy, busy!
In the midst of shopping, parties, etc, I have found a bit of time here and there to sneak away to my craft room.  Whimsy Stamp's Quick Card Fronts for the win! For my first card I used the Chilly Penguins. The images are so pretty by themselves, but I've never been one to leave things alone.  LOL. So I added some snow flakes.  These are from the Elegant Snowflakes and Border die set.  The snowflakes were glittered using glossy accents.  I tied a bit of rustic twine, jingle bells, and a few plastic leaves I had in my stash.
My second card also uses the Chilly Penguins set.  I added a snowflake, a bit of red gingham ribbon, some leaves, and the sentiment.
I have a few more cards to share before Christmas, so stay tuned! :)
Have a wonderful week!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Good morning!
I have two cards to share with you today using these new Quick Card fronts from Whimsy Stamps.
My first card I distressed the edges with scissors and added clear crackle paste. While it was wet I curled the edges.  After everything was dry, I added Gold Foundry Wax from Tim Holtz and embossed it.  I added a Hanukkah sentiment using the new die set. A bit of gold cording was added to finish off the card.
For my second card, I decided to create a shaker card.  I used the Quick Card Fronts again and the Peekaboo Window Die.  I added acetate and crafty foam tape to pop up the frame of the card.  I added gold sequins, gold ribbon, and cut the sentiment into a banner.
I always appreciate your visits! Thank you!

Vintage Easter Whimsy Stamp's Style

Good morning friends!
I have 4 cards to share today using Whimsy Stamp's new Vintage Easter Quick Card Fronts.  The images are so beautiful! Each card was made the same way, just with different color card stock.  Each one was cut out using the new  Spring Rectangles Die.  I used Gold Foundry Wax (Tim Holtz) for the edges and heat set it with an embossing gun. The center panel was popped up with Crafty Foam Tape.  I added some machine stitching along the perimeter and Stickles to the flower centers.  Just a few extra touches and these cards are done!

Thank you for visiting!
Have a great day!

St. Patrick's Day!

Hello friends!

My posts have been few and far between these days.  My life has blown up a bit these past few months.  Short story version, my MIL was placed into memory care, we are in the process of selling her house, and now rearranging our house to accommodate my FIL.  Creating just hasn't been in the cards lately.

I do love these Quick Cards from Whimsy Stamps for easy card making.  I cut the image with the Celtic Knots Die set for a bit of interest and texture.  I created a flower of sorts for the corner and some vintage ribbon to finish it off.
My second card uses the adorable Lucky Charm stamp set.  I did a no line coloring technique using my Zig water color markers.  For the background I used a piece of the Celtic Mix, Quick Card Fronts.  A gold ribbon was added to finish off the card.
