Clear Treat Box Perfect for Easter!

Howdy and happy Thursday to you!  It is raining and storming here in Chicago like crazy!
Trees are down, water in basements, siding blown off....it's been going on for about 24 hours and it is making me crazy! (I hate storms because I am a huge scaredy cat!)
So what's a girl to do when she is nervously waiting for the storm to pass?
Yep.
Craft.
I created this clear triangular treat box for SRM.
I adhered a doily to the edge as a base for my watercolored/glittered Quickutz eggs.  I am total old school with my Quickutz.  I remember back in the day when they were super popular, us crafty girls would compare which dies we had and squeal when we got a brand new one! (Or maybe that was just me?  Because I am kind of a dork that way?)
I adhered a spring sentiment on white paper and then a strip of black paper to make it pop.  I placed it on top of my eggs with foam tape.  For my final touch I tied a bow with charcoal twine and glued a rhinestone to the center.
As soon as it gets light out here, I can assess the damage to my house and property. Fun times.
I am praying that there is minimal damage.
This weekend the forecast looks warm and sunny.....so I just need to get through today and then I am home free!
Have a wonderful day!
Thank you all for stopping by!

Resurrecting Old Supplies!

Good morning!  I realized today that it had been a week since I last posted! Life has been so busy lately! There are many changes around the corner which I will be sharing soon.
Anyway my friends, I am up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog with this card.
It was a card made up of some very neglected supplies!
Created by Michele Kovack

Quickutz dies that I have been enjoying resurrecting...and my cloud stencil. I added layers of glossy accents and glitter to my dies after water coloring them with my Zig Clean Brush Markers, an SRM sticker that you can find here, and crafty foam tape in between card stock for depth. For my finishing touch, I adhered a few sequins using DODZ™ - Small.

Autumn in Layers!

#Donna Salazar #Scrapbookahdesivesby3L #Zig #watercolor #SRM

Good morning! I am up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today!  I have a quick mini tutorial on how I created my fall card.  I was inspired by my wreath on the front door and one of those, "AH-HA" moments! ;)

There are lots of layers....and glitter.....and watercolors.......*sigh*
And of course products from some of my favorite companies, Quickutz, Zig Clean Brush Markers, SRM Stickers, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Spellbinders......

Fall Treat Bag!

Good morning! I am up on the SRM Blog today with a little fall treat bag! Between Cort's teachers and my coworkers, I am constantly looking for little, inexpensive ways to brighten someone's day! Slip a few pieces of chocolate into the bag and the day just seems to get a whole lot better! ;)
I water colored a Spellbinder's circle and two pumpkins from Quickutz. I added a bit of gold Stickles to the sides of the pumpkins for a little sparkle.

I added a bit of doily and patterned paper, a flower, ribbon, and a sticker from SRM's  sentiment/fall collection. Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Autumn

Guess who's up on the SRM Blog today?
Yep!
I know as a fellow crafter you can relate when I say that I have an inconceivable amount of craft supplies.  I could craft every single day for the rest of my life and STILL not use it up!
Do you remember when Quickutz was the craze?
People collected them and paid a ton of money for them?
By Michele Kovack
I was one of those people.  I had to have EVERY one of them!  I recently resurrected my Quickutz binder and cut them using water color paper.
I used my Zig Clean Brush Markers.

I added glossy accents to the apples and added a sentiment from SRM Stickers.

That is all for me today!
I hope you have a wonderful day!!
