Are you ready to see what I have created?
My first card uses Whimsy's new stamp set called, Bunny Buddies. I stamped it in Versafine black ink and colored it using Zig Clean Color Markers.
I stamped the new Rain Drops Background stamp with Versamark ink and used WOW's clear embossing powder. To make the rain a bit more pronounced, I added a bit more water color.
I cut the image using the Pierced and Stitched Circle Dies. I popped up the middle circle for a bit more depth and interest.

I added a silk ribbon and few puffy heart stickers.

My second card uses Whimsy's new stamp set called, Cast a Spell.  I stamped the images on white paper using Versamark ink.  I used Wow's gold Embossing powder.
I fussy cut both stamped pieces and layered them using Crafty Foam Tape. The background seemed a bit plain so I used the Speckled Heart StencilThe sentiment was stamped again with Versamark ink and white embossing powder from WOW! Their powder is great because it is fine and doesn't get all chunky and lumpy!
I cut the sentiment using the Quick Strips Die Set.  I tucked it behind our wizarding friend.
No wizard is complete without a few stars, so I added a few from the Sparkletz Crystal Stars collection.

IF you would like to start the hop from the beginning, here is the complete list!
Be sure to leave a comment on each blog for your chance to win some awesome prizes!

My Happy Place....

Good morning! It's the start of a brand new week! I have been crafting quite a bit and have lots of projects to share this month!
I adore this new stamp set by Whimsy Stamps called, Bunny Buddies.
I stamped it in Versafine Black ink and colored it using Copic Markers.
I added hearts to the pocket and some white pen details.  I used Nuvo Glitter Drops to add sparkle to all of the hearts.  I layered the image over the polka dot paper from Whimsy's 6 x 6 Pretty Pastels.
I used a piece of doily at the bottom and top of the image.  I added silk ribbon and used a flower and leaves from the Build-a-Garden die set.   As a final touch I adhered a few clear droplets form the Coral Coast Sparkletz.

I am so blessed to have Misericordia in our lives.  They are a facility that takes care of 600+ residents, including my sweet girl, Cortney.  I love that they treat my daughter like she is the most important human being on the planet.  Not only do they provide a wonderful quality of life for their residents, they include the families in every aspect of their day to day.  Like this picture sent from the head of her house on their trip to Target.  Whenever I feel a bit sad about Cortney not being home, I look at her smile here and know, without a doubt, that she is living the life that God intended for her. Right now Misericordia is doing their "Candy Day's Drive."  If you are in the Chicago land area, you know that at the end of April families and friends of Misericordia stand out with their cans and Jelly Bellies collecting money.  (Rain or shine I will be out there!) Since many of our families and friends live out of the state, we also have a First Giving page set up for Cortney to benefit Misericordia.  If you would like to donate, here is the link.  Any amount is greatly appreciated!!

Whimsy Stamps April Release!

Good morning! It is hard to believe it is April already! Crazy right?
Spring is around the corner, which means Easter is too!
I love Whimsy Stamp's new die sets! I decided to create a background using the small and large chick die from the NEW Build-a-Garden set.
I arranged them on a piece of white card stock .
I used Tim Holtz Oxide ink in Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed to give the chicks their color. I coated each chick with glossy accents and Glamour Dust.   I used black enamel accents for their eyes.
I wanted a bold sentiment so I used the Bold ABC die set with black card stock. The Happy is from the NEW Bunny Buddies Clear Stamp set
I used Crafty Foam tape to layer the pieces for a bit of dimension.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Summer Card!

Good morning friends!
Spring break is just about over and I spent most of it fighting an ear infection.  But I did manage to sneak off into my craft room. I used Whimsy Stamp's new die set, called, Clouds Die set. I used the clouds to create a stencil out of paper.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks in Broken China and Mermaid Lagoon.
I cut a circle using the Pierced and Stitched Circle die. I added a couple of butterflies from the Butterflies Fluttering stamp set.  I used water color markers directly on the stamp to get the variation of color.  The sentiment is from the Friend Word and Shadow Die set.
I used the Nuvo Glitter Drops on the clouds, sentiment, stars, and a few dots here and there in the sky. I used a black fine tip marker to add stitching to the circle and cloud paper.  I also added a Sparkletz Love Heart to the center of my large butterfly.
Have a wonderful weekend friends!
