Deck the Owls!

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

I have a quick post today (As I have to pick up Cortney, clean, and cook for tomorrow!)

I used Whimsy Stamp's Happy Owlidays stamp set. I stamped this cutie in Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink for a no line coloring effect. I used Copic markers. I love changing up the shape of cards, so I used the Shaker Maker Pennant Flag dies. 

I used Sparkletz Snow Crystals and Crystal Stars for the shaker.

Howdy friends!

Can you believe we are only about a month from Christmas? Where did the year run off to?

Are you caught up with making your cards?

How about his cute set called, Happy Owlidays!

I stamped the image and used Polychromo pencils to color it.  I fussy cut it, added white gel pen highlights and added Stickles to his hat. The background panel was sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink in Faded Jeans.  I splattered it with a bit of water.  I embossed the Snowflake Frame stamp in gold. I popped the image in the center of my snowflake frame using Crafty Foam Tape. 

I added a few red sequins, silk ribbon, and a couple of gold jingle bells to tie it all together.

A Very Mice Christmas Box!

 Good morning! It has definitely been feeling more like Christmas instead of fall around here! We just had our second snowfall of the year and the temps are only in the teens! (Yikes!) 

So I've decided to embrace it and watch the Hallmark Christmas movie channel and create!

I simply adore the Mini Treat Box die from Whimsy Stamps!It truly is the perfect size for little treats.I paired it with their November release, Very Mice Christmas. (Even the name is cute!)

I colored the image with Copic markers and cut it out using the Stitched Circle die.  I stamped the sentiment on a jewelry tag. I added gingham ribbon, and a couple of red teeny flowers.

Holiday Wishes

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

There are so many new sets from Whimsy Stamps that I have been on a roll with mine!

I used a new set called, Gingerbread Greetings. I colored these sweet houses with Copic markers and then cut them out. 

I used Stickles on the roofs and glossy accents on the heart.  I layered the houses with Crafty Foam Tape over a gold doily from my stash. I stamped the background with Whimsy's new Tartan Plaid Background stamp.  

I tied a ribbon to the top and added a couple of glittery gold jingle bells using gold cording.  I adhered a few gold stars to play off of the gold theme I seemed to have going on here.  ;)

Hope you are all doing well!

I have a quick post today sharing another new (adorable) release from Whimsy Stamps! It is called, Winter Sports.  I colored my feathered friend with Copic markers.  The background was done using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.  (See supplies below)

 I used the Rounded Rectangles die.  On the back panel, I stamped the snowflakes to create my own sort of designer paper.  The "snow" was done with Stickles.  I used a few snowflakes from the Sparkletz collection.  I decided tuck the sentiment on the side, as not to distract from my skiing flamingo! ;)

Whimsy Stamp's November Release!

Are you coming down from your Halloween sugar high? ;)

I am sharing Whimsy Stamp's new November release called, Tweetie Pie. 

I colored these sweet birds with Copics and added snow using a white gel pen. I also added sparkly snow on the branches and the outer circle, using Stickles. I decided they would be cute as an ornament and used a Stampin Up! thingy (not sure what it is called), from my stash to create it. 

I added some Sparkletz to the shaker part. I stamped the sentiment in black and cut them into little banners.  The red posy and string are from my stash.  The teeny leaves were from the Build-a-Garden die set. I added additional sparkle to the leaves with Stickles.  I used the stitched circle dies to frame out the ornament.  

Zombie Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

I have some cute Zombie treat bags using Whimsy Stamp's Zombie Boy stamps. 

I colored them with Copics and fussy cut them.  I then added glossy accents to their eyes.  

I used the Wavy Pierced Rectangle dies on black to help the Zombie boys stand out a bit more.  I used Copics to color a strip of paper in shades of orange and yellow and stamped my sentiment on it.  I tucked it under the Zombie boy and added a teeny bow with a purple sequin for the center.  

I added a few more sequins and popped the image on the black rectangle with Crafty Foam Tape. 

Just add some Halloween candy and you've got some Zombie treat bags! ;)
