I Know......

Christmas is over! But, I had some cards that somehow never got posted! I don't have a lot lately to post because I am working on some DT stuff and new releases that can't be shown quite yet! So.......bare with me while I post Christmas stuff! This was a card I created with Crafty Secret's Christmas Joy set. I colored the image in with my Copics and then cut the ornament out and added a ribbon to the top along with a button.

Thanks for visiting me today! Your comments brighten my day!!! : )

This is Right Up My Alley!

This week's assignment at Bitten by the Bug was to use the pencil cut on the Community Cartridge. I decided since I AM a teacher, that I would go a traditional route. So I pulled out my school themed papers and went to town! Even the ribbon is school related! As teachers we tend to send notes home all the time, so this will be perfect to add to my stash at school!
Check out what the other gals did at BBTB! Their creations are fabulous!!!
***** Hey, remember a few weeks ago, I had gotten my van back from the body shop? (I had been rear ended prior to that) Wellllllllll..............the saga continues! The paint on my brand new rear bumper is bubbling and peeling. Bare metal is showing. I called the body shop today and the guy was like, "Uhhh, geeeee, I don't really know how that would happen......were in another accident or something?" Um........NO! So now, I am trying to arrange ANOTHER rental van, so I can get this van in AGAIN! Can you say, " I HATE MY VAN!!!!!!" Ugh! ok, ok, ok.....enough venting.......I'm done. Thanks for letting me bend your ear! : )))))

So Late in Posting These!

For all of you who sent these wonderful Christmas cards, I apologize for my tardiness!!!! My BAD! But, I guess it is better late then never!

Since my writing on these card is so dang small you might need your reading glasses, or magnifying glass, or microscope....whatever!

These two are from my MIL. She always sends cute cards to her grandkids!!! (And yes, I am FINALLY posting them!)

Isn't this picture card the coolest?

Ya, think I could have stage this a bit better? Upside chocolate? What the heck?! My talented MIL made these for our Christmas table. They were cuter when the chocolate was placed in the top hat the correct way! LOL!

I truly appreciated all the cards I received, even though I am terrible at posting them! They are in my special box upstairs in my Crappy....I mean Crafty room!
So THANKS girls!!!!!!!
Off to bed............gotta go back to work tomorrow........

Home Sweet Home.....

I had to play some more with these new stamps by Crafty Secrets called, Home Sweet Home. When I am in the mood to color, these are perfect!!! I used my Copics to color with. I also pulled out my very dusty "Postage Stamp" scissors. Remember years ago, when you HAD to have every nifty scissor out there? (OR was that just me?!) I have a whole rack of 'em! I also used my NEsties to further frame the image. I am drawing a blank on the paper.......I think it is Fancy Pants. The ribbon was given to me by Korin at Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. (Thanks Korin!) I thought it matched pretty well! I added a key by Life's Journey to finish it off.

Not, that I am complaining, (ok, maybe a little), but my 2 week vacation is almost over........ Monday, it's back to reality........back to my 28 5th graders.........*sigh*
So I guess I need to make the most of my last few days! Right now my son is making breakfast for my daughter and me. He is making Baked Apple Pancakes. Yep, all by himself! My they grow so fast don't they!? Off to go taste his masterpiece!
Have a great weekend!

Made With Scraps!

Did you ever look at your desk after creating something wonderful? Does yours look like a tornado ripped through the room? Or is it just me? Please tell me it isn't just me! I was working on a few new Crafty Secret's projects and had crap laying all over.......so I decided to take that crap and make something with it! Yep. Consider it my "Going Green" mission! This is the end result! I had an extra Shrinky Dink spoon and coffee bean that would have normally gone in the garbage.....instead it is here! I stamped the sentiment on the tag.....that just happened to be laying around.......and punched a few hearts to "ground" my spoon. That's it!

So whadda ya think? I probably shouldn't quit my day job eh?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
