Another Easter Card.....

I hope you aren't totally burned out on Easter cards!  I think, maybe, this is my last card for the season!
I used my Cricut and the Teresa Collins' Cartridge to create my egg shaped card.  I went a little ( a lot) nuts with the glitter.

The flower was cut using the Flower Shoppe cartridge.  I added a couple of leaves there were inked and scrunched.
I nestled my bunny in some Melissa Frances paper fringe that was colored with lime green Glimmer Mist.
I am off and running today!  So I'm going to keep it short and sweet!
Have a wonderful Friday!

Retro Bunny with a Punch!

Good morning!  I have another Easter card for you today!  He is a bunny with a retro feel and he is talented.....he plays the harmonica! ;)
It is an image from Crafty Secrets called Spring Bunnies.
He was colored with Copic Markers and cut out by hand.
I added this lace frame around him and cut out the oval.
I added a bit of grass by hand.  (Don't want my bunny to float in the air!)
It needed a punch of color to make this card go from drab to fab! So I added the lime green seam binding.  I glued a little red posy in the center with a bit of black string.
I captured this photo of my girl right before eating our dinner on Palm Sunday. I am always thrilled when I get those eyes open!
Cort and I have our spring break together, so we had a girls' day yesterday.  She had her very first manicure and pedicure.  She picked out the colors herself.  : D
The girl asked if Cort would like artwork on her toes.....and of course the answer was yes!
Now if only the weather would warm up enough to show off those cute piggies!
Have a great day!
XOXO

Happy Easter!

Good morning my crafty friends! Today is the first day of my spring break! I am so happy to have this week to spend with my kids and take a little break from my regular routine. I have been puttering around the house the last couple of days.  Organizing, cleaning, and catching up on a bit (a lot) of laundry!  I found a bit of time in my craft room to create a little Easter egg carton card.  It is an adorable cut I found at the Silhouette Store.

I wrapped it with a bit of ribbon that can easily slip off to reveal the eggs hidden underneath.  The flowers were made using The Bitty Blossoms Spellbinder's die.
I love the rolled flowers......so addicted to them lately.
Just slip the ribbon off and there is a little surprise underneath. :)

The flowers, leaves, and sentiment were glued directly to the ribbon.
We spent Palm Sunday with my In-laws and I forced my husband to take a picture with me.  He complained that he hadn't shaved, and he looked a bit scruffy.  I'm perfectly okay with scruffy. ;)
So he obliged and let my son snap a few pictures.
Nothing prettier than someone else's pool and house in the background is there? ;)  Would have liked this picture a whole lot better against some greenery.....but I am still liking the photo...even with its imperfections.
I am off to have a little lunch with my mom and Cortney today.  And then, Cortney and I are going for pedicures.  It will be her first time ever having her toes done!  I hope she enjoys the experience as much as I do!
Have a great day my friends!
