I am sure by now you have heard that tomorrow is World Cardmaking Day! Sweet 'n Sassy is hosting a little party filled with challenges, prizes and lots of discounts! So head on over there to join all the fun! This card was made using the Add on kit for Olivia the Owl. I loved this branch and decided to use it all by its lonesome. I added some textured snow on the branch and sprinkled it with glitter. The paper is SU! Papertrey Ink, and vintage music paper. The scalloped bottom was done with my Martha Stewart border punch. The wide ribbon is also SU!
See the dimensional snow? Almost looks like the real thing.... (BITE my tongue!!!)
See ya over at the Sweet 'n Sassy World Cardmaking Paaaaarty!
*** Just an FYI, I won't be posting all next week. I'll tell ya why when I get back......but it's all good. I'll miss ya's!
My thoughts and ideas for cardmaking and an occasional altered project!

Trick or Treat!
Happy Wednesday everyone! I wanted to share this little card I did for Noel's Tips and Techniques blog. If you hop on over there, you can see how I created the background! The entire card was created using Noel's Ghost Story kit. (Hurry! There are only 4 left! )
**And the upside of these last 2 days? No appliances have broken down and my van is still running! LOL! Do you have an appliance that seems to always break? Maybe one that you constantly have to replace? Just wondering if I am the only one cursed! LOL!
Have a great day!

I Love.....
Tessa Ann hosted a challenge at Noel's Challenge blog a couple of weeks ago. The DT was to recycle packaging in a fun and innovative way. I had this negative chipboard from Melissa Frances's glittered hearts. (Bought in Noel's store of course!) I knew immediately what I wanted to do! I chose to include many of the things I love. Of course I included my family....and my favorite clothing line, school, chocolate, ice cream, my house, music, flowers, french fries, etc......
I love that this LO speaks volumes with absolutely no journaling!
The DP I used was from Noel's Homeroom kit. (Currently sold out!)
Can you believe my washer broke yesterday? I have a curse I think when it comes to appliances! (And vans! LOL!) I have a front loader and half way through my two tons of laundry it wouldn't spin out! UGH! Sooooooo I called the appliance guy out today, and do you know what he found? A NICKEL stuck perfectly in the outgoing hose! A $65.00 dollar nickel! Lesson learned........empty out allllll pants pockets before washing.......
Have a great day!

Happy Halloween and a Tutorial!
I don't know what it is about Halloween, but it truly is my favorite holiday! I have had so much fun with Noel's newest kit, Ghost Story. It was soooo cute that there are only 4 left in her store! (So hurry before they all go!) Anyway, I did a tutorial on how to make this card at Noel's Tips & Techniques! Check it out if ya got a spare minute.
***For the question regarding "watch crystals," I picked these up years ago. They are just plastic dome shaped pieces. You can put things underneath to make a faux shaker. I am not even sure if they are made anymore.....maybe e-bay?
Happy Monday! (Now THAT's an oxymoron!)
