Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween friends!
Today I am dressed up as a baseball player with the team numbers...6...7!  If you are a fellow teacher or have young kids you totally get it! My kids are going to lose their minds when they see my costume! LOL!
As promised this is the last Halloween card I have to share for this year.  I used a variety of products from Whimsy Stamps.  The background is from the 6 x 6 paper pack called Haunted Houses.  The top layer was created using water color paper and Tim Holtz Distress sprays.  After words I inked the edges in black soot ink and used a circle die to cut out the center. I glued the top layer in place.
The witch is from the Witch Whispers Sister Die set
I cut her out with black paper and added a layer of glossy accents and glitter to her.  I did the same with the bats from the Batty die set. I stamped the sentiment and added some gold sequins to finish off the card.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN friends! :)

Back to Cute Halloween!

Happy Halloween EVE, EVE! ;)
I have a cute Halloween card to share today.  Cute is definitely more in my comfort zone than spooky.
I created this pumpkin shaped card using Whimsy's, Build-a-Pumpkin Patch Die set. It was colored with Copic Markers. The cute pup is part of the Doggies Halloween stamp set.  He was also colored with Copics and popped up with dimensional foam tape. I added a black bow and stamped a web and spider.  (Not sure which stamp set it came from....I am sorry!)
I have one last card to share for Halloween tomorrow! Stay tuned! ;)

Mixed Media Project Halloween Style!

Happy Monday my friends!
This year has been a train wreck of a year, but it has been speeding by and I am running out of time to post my Halloween projects! So over the next few days I have a couple more items to share with you.
I found these Dollar Store skulls and decided to alter them.  The eyeballs were from the Dollar Spot at Target.  I used Tim Holtz paint, Crypt Grit Paste, and dry brushed it afterwards with a bit of white paint.  I wish I had taken a picture of the cheap plastic looking skulls they started out as!
I added some fun elements from Whimsy Stamps.  I used the Elvira Moonlighting Die set.  I added tombstones from the Build-a-Graveyard die set.  I used Crypt Grit Paste on the tombstones and when it was dry inked with brown and black inks. A few ghosts were added from the Boo Die Set.
I added a bit of raffia.  ( I think that's what it's called?) to fill in the skulls.

I did attach two of them to glass jars. I want to fill them with some wrapped Halloween candy to give to my two co-teachers. :)

I hope you liked my project today!
Have a good week!
