Hello!

Hello there! I have a card today that was up on the SRM blog a couple of days ago.

It uses a new stamp set called Big Hello!

I stamped the sentiment and the faux stitching and embossed it in gold.  I did a water color wash using shades of blue, gray, and gold.  I popped up the panel using foam tape from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and adhered gold glittery leaves underneath it. 

I added a bit of silk ribbon, gold yarn, and a scattering of sequins to finish the card.

Brian and I are headed out today with Cortney to some new hamburger place he discovered.  A heavy metal hamburger joint.  He tells me we should punk up Cort's hair and get her a tattoo! LOL!  Maybe a temporary one I told him. ;) 

My husband is always looking for new things to try.....so I guess I better pull out my AC/DC T-shirt!

JustRite September Release-Christmas Handwritten Sentiments!

Happy Friday to you!

I am excited it is the weekend! For no reason in particular, but to relax and maybe find an hour or two to sneak off to my craft room. 

Today I am sharing another new set by JustRite called, Christmas Handwritten Sentiments.  The font is gorgeous and I love the versatility of this set!

The box was cut using my Silhouette. I added a bit of glossy accents and pearls to dress it up a bit.

Just Playing Around...

Sometimes you just have to play.

Surround yourself with supplies that inspire you and see where it takes you.

I probably shouldn't, nor do I really have the time since I have DT commitments. 

But I do anyway.

I am in love with my Zig Kuretake Clean Color markers. I can't get enough of them.

I just want to water color everything in sight these days!

So a few nights ago, I allowed myself to play....experiment....and just find my much needed solace.

I cut the balloons using my Silhouette. Everything here was water colored....then glossy accented (see how I made that a verb?), and glittered.

Life is funny these days.

And maybe, just maybe the pendulum is swinging in my favor. 

I will have news to share in the next couple of months.

It is exciting, scary, emotional.....all wrapped up in one.

JustRite is BACK!

Good morning! 

I am thrilled to announce that JustRite is BACK! They are under new management and already developing new products! I am so excited for them and for me! ;)  I've missed my JustRite family!

So no more dilly dallying.....today's new set is called Multi-Step Poinsettia. There is nothing prettier at Christmas than seeing these gorgeous plants!

To help you with stamping them, there is a downloadable PDF file that you can find HERE. 

I stamped mine various times, added splashes of color using my brush and water colors.  I also added gold Stickles to the centers of the flowers.  I tied black silk ribbon from Stamp Simply and a couple of gold jingle bells.
