Clear Treat Box Perfect for Easter!

Howdy and happy Thursday to you!  It is raining and storming here in Chicago like crazy!
Trees are down, water in basements, siding blown off....it's been going on for about 24 hours and it is making me crazy! (I hate storms because I am a huge scaredy cat!)
So what's a girl to do when she is nervously waiting for the storm to pass?
Yep.
Craft.
I created this clear triangular treat box for SRM.
I adhered a doily to the edge as a base for my watercolored/glittered Quickutz eggs.  I am total old school with my Quickutz.  I remember back in the day when they were super popular, us crafty girls would compare which dies we had and squeal when we got a brand new one! (Or maybe that was just me?  Because I am kind of a dork that way?)
I adhered a spring sentiment on white paper and then a strip of black paper to make it pop.  I placed it on top of my eggs with foam tape.  For my final touch I tied a bow with charcoal twine and glued a rhinestone to the center.
As soon as it gets light out here, I can assess the damage to my house and property. Fun times.
I am praying that there is minimal damage.
This weekend the forecast looks warm and sunny.....so I just need to get through today and then I am home free!
Have a wonderful day!
Thank you all for stopping by!

Water Color Vs. Prisma Pencils!

Good morning! I love this adorable stamp from Whipper Snapper called, Bow Wow Birthday!  I loved it so much I decided to make two cards with it.  The first card uses Zig Clean Color Markers.  I love water color, but due to my impatient personality, I sometimes mess up my images.  It is very wise to work on areas of the card that don't touch!  I've learned many times the hard way!
I added mini pom poms to their party hats, a few colorful sequins and a die cut sentiment.
For my second card I used Prisma colored pencils.  Coloring with pencils is a bit more time consuming, but I do love the look it gives! I also felt like I had a bit more control with the pencils. I added highlights with a white gel pen.

I used a plaid paper behind the image from Lawn Fawn, a sticker sentiment from SRM Stickers, and a few sequins.
Here are the two cards side by side.  Which one do you like better?  What medium do you prefer?  Water colors or colored pencils?
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
