My package from my Halloween Swap partner!!!

I was in a totally cool Halloween Swap over at the Witches Cauldron. Simone my bestest blogging buddy paired me up with Mary Ann, at a Very Mary Design. We both like vintage things, so it was a perfect match! She sent me all sorts of wonderful things! My absolute favorite is this Victorian Halloween Cone! I have it hanging in my dining room. In addition to this beauty, I received candy, soap, altered tags, paper, buttons. candy corn, ribbon, and some cool books. What an awesome swap!

Last Remnants of Summer!

I just scrapped these pictures of Cortney in our pool. She discovered that she loves to swim underwater! So I would sit her on the stair and when she was ready she would push off and swim to me. She loved it! I love the picture of her peeking out from the stair rail. Cortney + water = Pure JOY!!!

I'm on a roll!

Here is another Crafty Secrets card! I am loving their products lately! Love all the vintage things! I started with a tag and spritzed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist. I stamped the bird and added a hint of color to his wings. The branches are by Autumn leaves. I used K & Company paper and some pretty ribbon. Does anyone know why my sewing machine is dropping stitches? You can see that I am missing some in this card! Any suggestions?

A Christmas card and a RAK!

I decided to make another Christmas card this week. Maybe it was due to the fact that my daughter has been singing "Silent Night" every morning at the top of her lungs! I have to crack up when she does this because she is generally a very quiet girl....but not when it comes to her Christmas songs! Anyway, I stamped this image from my MIL and colored him in with my Prismas and Gamsol. I used liquid applique for his coat and beard. The paper is by Cosmo Cricket and the ribbon.....well I really don't know! I don't store my ribbon with the manufacturer name....I throw them in large jars by color! I know, I know, bad, bad, bad!!! I colored the small stars in with my Stickles. The large glittered stars were already done for me....by Making Memories!
This lovely RAK came from Kivonne over at "Stampin Anyone?" It is funny how you get to know people and make connections! She is such a sweetie and even sweeter for sending me this wonderful card! Thanks KT!

A Crafty Secrets Card and I've been Tagged!

Here is another card I made using the Fairy set from Crafty Secrets. I used a paper doily for the background. I spritzed it with walnut ink and Tattered Angels, Glimmer mist. I used Basic Grey paper. The image was colored in using my Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol. I added a little glitter to her wings. The stars were made from pink felt.

I was tagged from Kelly Sampson at Diaries of a Stamper. I am supposed to write something relevant about me using the first letters of my middle name. Wellllll, I have a very short middle name! Lyn. So this was easy for me.....here it goes!

L: Love all things that smell good....candles, air freshners, sachet, drawer liners, perfume....

Y: Yeller! I have a tendency to lose my cool and yell! I am not proud of that fact...but I am a yeller!

N: No grocery shopping for me....my husband does it all!!! He cuts the coupons AND shops! How lucky for me!

Christening pictures

This is my beautiful Goddaughter, Katie. Isn't she the cutest? Her dress was made from my sister's wedding gown. It came out so pretty! I took these photos and love how they turned out!

Brian was such a gushing Godfather! He loved having this honor! And of course my two cutie pies....Cortney and Kyle.

I am off to bed....my sister was soooo very sick and I think I am trying to get her cold! No stamping tonight...gotta get my butt to bed!
