Cheers to the weekend! Joy Clair just released this cute new set called, Raise Your Glass. Seems sort of fitting for this "birthday weekend" of mine, filled with lots of calories and a few spirits. (wink, wink!) I used my Zig Clean Brush Markers to color the image. I splattered a bit of black paint off the tip of my brush.
Once the image was dry, I added glossy accents to the olives. I also adhered a few sequins and tied gold yarn to bring it all together.
I am off to school...afterwards, let the weekend commence! ;) Have a great one my friends!

Autumn
Guess who's up on the SRM Blog today?
Yep!
I know as a fellow crafter you can relate when I say that I have an inconceivable amount of craft supplies. I could craft every single day for the rest of my life and STILL not use it up!
Do you remember when Quickutz was the craze?
People collected them and paid a ton of money for them?
I was one of those people. I had to have EVERY one of them! I recently resurrected my Quickutz binder and cut them using water color paper.
I used my Zig Clean Brush Markers.
I added glossy accents to the apples and added a sentiment from SRM Stickers.
That is all for me today!
I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Crafty Secret's Design Team Challenge and Linky Party!
Good morning and happy Labor Day! Today is the Crafty Secret's Design Team Challenge and linky party! This month's challenge is to create something for the fall. I went with Halloween because it is my favorite holiday! I love making home decor pieces that I can customize. I created this piece to hang in my kitchen off of my hutch.
I incorporated vintage digital papers that you can find HERE. This adorable witch image that you can find HERE. I added ribbon from Stamp Simply, that you can find HERE. I cut leaves and flowers using my Silhouette and gave them color using my water colors.
I used lace and created a shaker background behind that cute lil' witch. I added a few bats to add to my Halloween theme.
So how did I add all of those layers?
Here's what I started with. Digital papers printed and cut to size.
I cut out the center of the frame and inked up the edges a bit.
I cut this image and added German Glass glitter to the edges.
I cut and water colored my flowers.
And leaves! :)
I wanted to create a shaker background, so I added crafty foam tape that you can purchase HERE.
I added my sequins....
And plopped it directly on my other digital paper.
I added a bit of lace and another strip of digital paper. The lace is from SRM stickers.
I started to put everything together here......
And you end up with something like this! ;)
Be sure to visit the other gals' blogs for more inspirations!
Happy Labor Day!
