St. Patrick's Day!

Hello friends!

My posts have been few and far between these days.  My life has blown up a bit these past few months.  Short story version, my MIL was placed into memory care, we are in the process of selling her house, and now rearranging our house to accommodate my FIL.  Creating just hasn't been in the cards lately.

I do love these Quick Cards from Whimsy Stamps for easy card making.  I cut the image with the Celtic Knots Die set for a bit of interest and texture.  I created a flower of sorts for the corner and some vintage ribbon to finish it off.  

My second card uses the adorable Lucky Charm stamp set.  I did a no line coloring technique using my Zig water color markers.  For the background I used a piece of the Celtic Mix, Quick Card Fronts.  A gold ribbon was added to finish off the card.  

    

 

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

I have two cards today using Whimsy Stamp's new Celtic Quick Card fronts. Not much needs to be done to make a beautiful card. :)  I did add clear embossing ink to image and embossed it in with a glitter embossing powder.  I then cut out the image using a scalloped rectangle die.  A vintage lace ribbon was added as well as a few clear gems to the cross. 

The second card is identical except it uses the new St. Patrick's Day Quick Card Fronts.

Happy Anniversary!

This new set by Whimsy, Old Fart Couple, cracks me up! 

I may not have the rollers and gray hair yet, but the "WHAT!!" is definitely something I can relate to! LOL! The image was colored with Copics and cut out with the Rainbow Bridge Die set.   The background was done with the new Floating Hearts Cover Plate Die. A fun bright ribbon finished off the card.

Two More Puppy Cards!

Hello friends!

I have a couple more cards today using Whimsy Stamp's newest products! I used the new 6 x 6 Rainbow Pack and the Rainbow Bridge Die set.    I did some water coloring, glossy accents, and glitter for the first card.  

I wanted to use this set to also welcome a new puppy.  The pawprints are so precious.  A bit of glossy accents helps to define them.  I also added the word puppy using the Bold ABC die set.

Whimsy Stamp's New Release

Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release day!

Back in May I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy, Skippers.  He was 18 and lived a long healthy life.  Unfortunately, he crossed that Rainbow Bridge. 

This past October we got a new pup and named him Bourbon.  He is a bundle of energy and pretty mischievous.  But he has added some life to our house and I love him to pieces!

For those of you who have lost fur babies or need to send a card to someone who just lost theirs, this set, Rainbow Angel is perfect.  I stamped her on Copic friendly paper and fussy cut her. The paper is part of the Rainbow Bridge collection.  I cut the frame using the new Rainbow Bridge Die set. 

My second card uses the same products, but instead of using only Copics, I stamped the angel on the rainbow paper and cut her out.  I love that her wings and dress are bright and colorful.  I added a touch of glossy accents and glitter to her wings.
