Watercolor on Black Paper

I've been in the mood lately to experiment and try new things.  Like water colored hearts stamped on black paper for example.  ;)  I used the Slimline Heart Border stamp set.  It was stamped with Versamark on black water color paper and embossed in gold.  I used Karin Metallic Brushmarkers and Kuretake water colors. I did the wet on wet technique to really blend and move the colors.  Once it was to my liking, I splattered it with a bit of gold, and white acrylic paint.
The colors are so rich and pretty in person! I added the thinking of you sentiment from the Slimline Heartbeats Die set.  I added a few gold sequins from the St. Patrick's Day Confetti Mix

Ouchie!

Hello friends!
I've been home sick all week with some crazy virus.  It's been a long week of coughing, fever, headache, sore throat, and body aches.  I tested negative for CoVid twice and negative for strep.  I am on several things for the symptoms, but only time will allow me to heal from this thing I've got.
All my plans this week were canceled, but it has made me slow down and rest, which I needed.
So even though my illness doesn't require a band aid to fix, I thought today's card was somewhat appropriate! ;)
I used Whimsy Stamp's Big Boo Boo Slim Line Die set.  I cut my band aids in cool colors and adhered them on an angle.  I love how realistic they are!
I also used the Big BooBoo Clear Stamp set.  I cut it out by hand and adhered directly over the Band Aids.  A red ribbon was added along with some clear sequins to finish it off.
Just a quick post today friends!

Whimsy's New Release!!!

Good morning!
Whimsy Stamps has done it again! SO many new products, I don't know where to begin! First, this cute Hoppy Easter Bunny Stamp set! Can you say cuteness overboard?! I stamped it with Copic safe ink and colored it with Copics.  Whimsy is now part of the Hot Foil/Plate scene, and this girl couldn't be more thrilled!  I am a complete newbie so I kept it kind of simple! I used the new Mini Slim Notched Hot Foil plates and hot pink foil.  I love the look of the foiling, it makes the card look complete!
Then to make things a bit more interesting, I used the new, It's Raining stencil.  I used it with a light blue ink, then shifted it and used it with a silvery glitter paste.  While it was wet I was able to wipe off any areas I didn't want it. I set it aside to dry and then decided while it was drying, to stamp another flower, cut it out and add it to the tea cup.  For a finishing touch I added a few X's and O's from the Hugs and Kisses Confetti Mix.  I added confetti to the center of my flower from the Spring Buzz Confetti Mix.

A Wish of Good Luck

Hi friends!
Whimsy Stamps is having an Instagram Hop today, if you would like to see what the other designers have created, head over to my Instagram.  :)
My card today uses the Good Luck Flowers stamp set.  It was stamped with a no line ink and colored with Zig Clean Color markers.  I gave it a splatter of gold, white, and black.  I distressed the edges with scissors and added some machine stitching.  The paper behind it is vintage music paper from my stash and green striped paper from the Mix n Match paper pack
I tied ribbon, a couple of posies, and added a few clear drops from the Sparkletz-Salt Water collection.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Today is Whimsy's new release day and this set, AIFROGabet is just the cutest stamp set EVER! My son collected frogs for years when he was younger.  So now I kind of have a thing for frogs. ;)  I think I will have to save this card for my son's birthday!  (Even if he will be 26.  LOL) I used the coordinating dies and colored each one with my Zig Clean Color Markers. I used the frame from the Slimline Scenic Countryside die and  the Rainbow Magic Slimline paper.
I felt like the frogs needed to be nestled in something so I cut some grass from the Build-a-Fairy Garden die set. I added some dimension with Copic Markers.  I popped up some of the balloons with Crafty Foam Tape.
I used Confetti from the Fabulous Florals collection, Over the Moon, and  St. Patrick's Day.    A few pom poms were added to the party hats too! :)
Thank you so much for taking part of your day to spend here!
Be sure to pop over to Whimsy Stamps to see the full release!
Have a great day my friends!

You Lift Me Up!

Hello!
I have a new card to share today using Whimsy's Doggie Valentine Friends stamp. I used my Zig Clean Color markers to color these cuties in. I added a few white gel dots to their cheeks and nose.  I used teh Pierced and Stitched Circle dies to cut out the image. For the background I used a combination of Quilted Rainbow Inlaid die and FaDoodles Frames.
I added a few strips of patterned paper  from the Mix N Match Paper Pack, to give it a pop of color. I also added a few sequins from the St. Patrick's Day Confetti Mix.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Have a great day!
