Truck With Flowers Part 2!

Hello friends! Hope you had a great weekend!

I have another card using the Truck Die from Whimsy Stamps. I popped up some of the elements by cutting Fun Foam to place under the die pieces.  I added flowers just like my last card, but using an entirely different color scheme.  The background uses purple card stock with the Tartan Plaid Background Stamp using Versamark ink.  Behind that I used the Floral A2 Hot Foil Plate and Silver Hot Foil.  The sentiment uses the Sympathy Silhouette Hot Foil Plate and Copper Hot Foil. 

I decided to fill the truck again with flowers from the Grass Frames Die set and the Jungle Frames Die Set. The Teeny heart is from the Hugs and Kisses Confetti Mix.  I added centers to the flowers using the You Make Me Melt Confetti Mix.

Whimsy's New Release!

Good morning and happy July 1st! 

I am super excited to share this new release today from Whimsy Stamps!

Soooooo many fun new products!

My focal point is this adorable Truck Die that I cut from gray card stock.  I cut some of the smaller pieces with fun foam and popped up those smaller pieces. The background was created using the new Chippy Paint Background stamp.  I layered half of a yellow circle using the Pierced and Stitched Circle Dies.  My sentiment was done using the Sympathy Silhouette Hot Foil Plate and Silver Foil. I adhered the "Sun" and the truck to the card and decided to fill it with lots of flowers!

The flowers and leaves were cut using the Grass Frames Die set and the Jungle Frames Die set.  I filled the trunk and used the small circles from various Confetti Mixes.  (see links below) Once those were glued I added Stickles to the centers.

Hello Friends!

Just a quick post today!

I am finishing up summer school and VBS in the evenings at my church, so needless to say this week has been a busy one!

I created a shaped card using Whimsy Stamp's Mermaid Moments Stamp set and the Clam Shell Die set.   I added a small flower and leaves to the clam using the Grass Frames Die set.

A Little Snarky to Start Your Day!

Sometimes ya just gotta be snarky.....and have a sense of humor! ;)

I love Whimsy Stamp's new set, Kiss My Donkey. It just cracks me up every time I see this mouse's expression and that donkey's silly smile! The image was colored using Copic Markers.  I added lips to the donkey's booty to emphasize my point. ;) They are part of the Hugs and Kisses Confetti mix. 

I added a few clouds to the background using the It's Cloudy Stencil.  Navy and white twine was added and this card was called, done.

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello friends! 

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today is Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

I used the new BEE Happy stamp.  This little guy was stamped in a no line ink and colored with Copics.  I added glossy accents to his great big glasses and fussy cut him out. 

I used the It's Cloudy stencil for the background in pink. 

I used the new Many Thanks Word Hot Foil Plate for the sentiment.  I paired it with Copper Hot Foil.  I topped the card with a colorful ribbon and a few stickles dots. :)

Sweet Home

Happy Friday to you!

I am sharing  a new card today using Whimsy Stamp's Moving In stamp set.   I had so much fun arranging this living room.  There are so many little parts to this set to really customize it the way you want! Everything was colored with Copic Markers.  I did add some soft grey stripes to the wall.   I was thinking of a wide paneling of some sort, not sure what it is called in the world of home decor.  ;)  The wood floor was created using the Slimline Fence Die set. 

I inked up the metal die with a dark brown ink on kraft paper.  I ran it through my die cutting machine and voila! I love the texture of this die! A couple of pearls were added to the pillows and a ribbon at the top. 

This card used minimal supplies, but I love how it turned out!

Seas the Day!

I have a slimline card today showcasing Whimsy Stamp's Ocean Fest Background stamp. 

It was stamped using Versamark and embossed in gold on black water color paper. I pulled out my ancient H2O metallic water colors.  They have such a pretty shimmer in person.  Once it was dry I added white gel pen highlights.  I adhered it to a piece of navy card stock using Crafty Foam Tape. 

I used the sentiment from the Ocean Tiles set.  It was embossed in white and wrapped in brown twine.  I used a silver starfish from my stash to attach to the twine.
