Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello!

Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release day!  Trying to take decent pictures in dark gloomy Illinois has been a bit of a challenge! So bear with me!

I used their brand new Snowflake Mask Stencil as the focal point of my card. I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Soltice stamp set with Versamark ink and embossed it in white.  The frame is part of the new Frame Labels Die set.  I added a few additional snowflakes from glitter paper using the Elegant Snowflakes and Border die set. 

A few clear sequins and some shimmery silver ribbon finished off the card.

Some Last Minute Halloween Cards!

I can't  believe we are already at Halloween week! I have a couple of cards to share that I created for Whimsy Stamps.  This first card uses the super cool, Exquisite Beauty Stamp set.   I added a bit of Color with Copic markers.  I used the Honeycomb Drips Stencil as blood.  Cut it out and added glossy accents to it. The background paper is part of the BOOkeh 6 x 6 paper pack. I tied a bit of black string and a couple of posies to finish off the card. 

My second card also uses the Exquisite Beauty set for the sentiment.  These frames are so much fun to grunge up with paints and Grit Paste.  I filled the frames with the cameos from the Forever Cameos Die set.    The background was given a bit of interest using the Exquisite Lace Stamp, watercolors, and machine stitching.

Slimline Holiday Card

Hello!

I have a slimline card perfect for the holidays! This uses Whimsy Stamp's new Slimline Double Oven Die.  I went a bit retro with my colors, using pink, blue, and touches of red.  For the items inside the oven I used the Baking Die set.  The details in the dies are amazing! (The turkey is my favorite!) The sentiment is part of the Simple Sentiment Strips. 

I added touches of Stickles, faux stitching with a black and white micro pen. 

This turkey.......love.

Whimsy's New Release & a Trio of Cards!

Hello friends! I have not one...not two....but three cards to share today! ;) I am using Whimsy Stamp's new stamp set called, Love and Christmas Cookies. I colored each image with Copics and then outlined where the icing would be with liquid applique.   I couldn't decide if I should heat it up or not, so I did both! LOL .  I used the coordinating dies to cut each image out.  I used a stencil from my stash for the background, a bit of paint splatter, and some ribbon and flowers to finish it off. 

This card uses all of the same products except for the addition of the yummy die! So stinking cute!

A Christmas Carol

Hello!

Just a quick post sharing Whimsy Stamp's Scrooge stamp set.  I inked up a large circle with the image and sentiment.  The signage was stamped on kraft card stock and fussy cut. I added a bit of crackle texture paste and twine.   I hand cut the snowy ground and added a couple of snowflakes from the Elegant Snowflakes and Border Die.

Snow Cute!

Just a quickie post sharing another card using Whimsy's Let it Snow Snowmen stamp set! It was colored with Copcis and the little snow balls were fussy cut.  I used some of my old dies to create a window in the front of my card. I used the Polka Dot Stencil to create a snowy scene. Ribbon and jingle bells were tied to the top and liquid applique applied to the snowball hats. 

I did a bit of machine stitching around the perimeter of the card and Stickles for some added sparkle.

They are part of the Let it Snowmen stamp set.  They were colored with Copics and fussy cut out.  The background was done with Texture paste and the Polka Dot Stencil.   I finished the card off with some glitter, jingle bells, and ribbon. Oh! And I almost forgot, liquid applique to their hats!
