New Background Stamp!

Good morning!
I am still playing catch up from my vacation, but seeing my son graduate from the nuclear program in the navy was really something to see.  Very emotional for me.
Today I am showcasing a new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called, Big Bumble Background Stamp.
It was stamped in black and colored with Copic Markers.  I stamped the wings on black water color paper and embossed it in gold.  I used metallic water color paints and then cut the wings out.  They are popped up using Foam Squares.
I added the sentiment, hi using the Cutie ABC Die set and purple glitter paper. A bit of twine as added and glossy accents to the bee's body.  For some extra sparkle I sprinkled a bit of glitter to the flower petals.
Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to pop on over to Whimsy Stamps to see all of their products!
I also have one of the pictures below of my son graduating Power School! (Proud Mama!)

Celebrate! Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello my crafty friends!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's April 1st release! It is also the day my son graduates from Power School! Proud Navy mom here!
I used the new Mini Slim Tri Fold Peekaboo die.  I saved the other parts for another project that I will share later.  I used the circles and applied Distress Oxide inks to the two smaller circles.
The center circle is from the new Medalions Modern Hot Foil Plate.  And since I couldn't leave well enough alone I also used the Floral Hot Plate on pink paper with gold foil.  I used it as a background to the circles.
I added pearls and some gold confetti from the St. Patrick's Day Confetti Mix.  I adhered everything on top of some super sparkly gold paper.  It feels so girly and glitzy!

Enjoy Life

Hello!
Hope you are doing well today! I have a slimline shaker card using Whimsy Stamp's new Slim Notched Hot Foil Plates in Rose Gold.  I layered 3 plates for a more dramatic look.  I cut out the frame using the coordinating Notched Die set. Clear acetate was adhered behind frames and popped up with Crafty Foam Tape.    The sentiment is from Good Luck Flowers and was stamped directly on the acetate with Versamark.  It was then embossed in white.
I wanted to add some flowers and leaves in the corners, so I used the Jungle Frames for the leaves and Grass Frames for the flowers.  I always have distressed water colored backgrounds ready to die cut.  I keep my water colored backgrounds in a basket for when I need them.  The flowers and leaves were layered, twine, and a gold doily were added. The heart is from the Confetti Mix-Love You Beary Much  and was originally white.  I used a Copic Marker to color it so it would match perfectly. The shaker elements is from the Confetti Mix-St. Patrick's Day.  (And yes, I did pick out all of the Shamrocks! LOL)
Thank you for stopping today!
Have a wonderful day!!

Easter Egg

Hello friends!
I am heading out to South Carolina to see my son graduate from Power School in the Navy.
I am excited to see an actual graduation.  Since CoVid, we have missed his college graduation, Boot Camp graduation, and A School graduation. So I have my tissues ready for me to be crying like a baby.
Today's card uses this adorable set, Hoppy Easter Bunny, from Whimsy Stamps. I used my Zig Clean Color markers and used a no line coloring technique.  Once he was colored, I used the Nested Pierced Egg Die set.
I added an additional "frame" using my black fine tipped pen. Ribbon, posies, and a couple of leaves from the Jungle Frame set were added.  The teeny heart is from the Love You Beary Much Confetti Mix.
Have a great week!
Thank you for stopping by today!!

Miss You!

Good morning and happy Sunday to you!
I have a grungy, vintage inspired card to share today using the Whimsy Stamp's new Butterflies Hot Foil plates!  I had never foiled before so when I got these I went a little crazy creating all kinds of butterflies using all kinds of different foils. They were cut out using the coordinating dies.  For this card I used gold foil and used Distress inks in Kitch Flamingo, Dusty Concord, and Ripe Persimmon,  I added flowers and pearls to the centers using the Grass Frames Die Set.
The background used vintage paper and the Rain Stencil with texture paste. I layered a frame from the Jungle Frames Die set. The pale gray polka dot paper is from the Mix n Match Neutrals paper pack.  Machine stitching was added.  I felt like it needed a sentiments, so I added a large YOU from the You are Word Die set. I added a few purple confetti pieces from the Fabulous Florals Confetti collection.

Lots of layers and distressing today, sometimes you just gotta play! :)
Thank you for stopping by today!

Happy St. Paddy's Day....Again!

I know St. Paddy's Day was 6 days ago....but somehow I forgot to share this card.  It was too cute not to share.  ;)  I used Whimsy Stamp's St. Paddy Shenanigans stamp set.  I colored him with Copics and fussy cut him out. I also took a piece of the Rainbow Magic paper and folded it accordion style to make a colorful pinwheel behind my image. I felt like he needed to be sitting on something, so I added a rainbow using the Array of Rainbows Die Set.  The card base was cut using the Pierced and Stitched Circles Dies.
I also added a few white gel pen highlights, glossy accents to the beer mug, and a little splattering on the rainbow.

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
Mine started out driving to go get Cortney and ending up with a flat tire!
Fortunately, we were not hurt, pulled over to a safe location, and a friend of ours was able to come and grab the tire and fix it for us.  Thank goodness for good friends!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release, and I love this new set called, Sew You.  I went back to my vintage roots with lots of distressing and layering.  :) I colored the image using Zig Clean Color Markers.  I did add few details with a black colored pencil to emphasize the wood grain.  I also added a bit of gold to the sewing machine.  Once the image was dry I gave it a splattering of white acrylic paint. It was cut out using the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle Die. The brown checked paper is part of the Mix n Match Neutrals.
I love adding little embellishments to make the card a little extra sweet.  I colored the heart and spool and cut them out.  I took thread and wound it around the spool until it was completely covered.  The teeny flowers and leaves are part of the Grass Frame's Die.  I layered all the pieces, adding a satin ribbon and string for a finishing touch.

Have a wonderful day!
