Whimsy's New Release!

Hello my crafty friends!
Today is June 1st, can you believe it? This means it is Whimsy Stamp's new release day!
I created this slimline card using the new       Slimline Dragonflies Background die.  I smeared some glittery texture paste over the cut piece.  Once it was dry, I adhered it to black paper.  I used a white gel pen to add bodies to each dragonfly.  I cut a few extra dragon flies with white paper.  I inked them in pink and added silver to their bodies.
The sentiment is part of the new Many Thanks     stamp set.  I stamped it on black paper with Versamark ink and embossed it in a creamy white color.  I used the coordinating die and adhered it to the dragonfly panel with Crafty Foam Tape.  I added a couple of the pink dragonflies to the sentiment for a pop of color.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Whimsy's New Release!

Hello friends!
Today is Whimsy's New release and today's card is entirely created from die cuts! The shaped card is part of the new Milk Can Die Set.  The center of it uses patterned paper from the Farmhouse paper pack.  I cut the sentiment using the new Bless Yer Heart Word Die.
The flower was cut using the Poppy Flower Die Set. I distressed the edges to match the old rustic feel of the milk can.  I tucked the ribbon and tags under the flower.

Have a great day!

You're Dino-Mite!

Good morning friends!
I have a fun card to share today using Whimsy Stamp's My Baby Saur Die set.  I cut them out of a lime green paper and added a few dots to their backs using a Copic Marker.  The background was stamped with the new Roarsome Skin Background Stamp.
I cut and tucked a few leaves from the Jungle Frames Die set behind them.  I added a few hearts from the Love You Beary Much Confetti Mix.   The large heart was from my stash....probably from like 1997 or something! LOL!
Thank you so much for popping by today!
Have a great day!

A Sarcastic Cow?

Good morning!
How about a cow with some attitude?
Do you know anyone who might be a few "pecans short of a fruitcake?" LOL!
This is part of Whimsy Stamp's new Southern Heifer set.   I colored her in with Copics and stamped the sentiments directly on the card.  I wanted her to be center of attention....because well....just look at her! ;)  So I didn't use any embellishments, just the new patterned paper, Farmhouse.
Just a quick post for a pretty simple (but funny) card today!

Have a great day!

This set by Whimsy Stamps just cracks me up!
Sometimes you just gotta be snarky and laugh! This image is part of the new Doggie Fun Times stamp set. I stamped him in a no line ink and used my Zig Clean Color Markers.  I stamped the sentiment directly on the image.  The image was die cut using the Rounded Rectangles Die.
Glossy accents was added to his nose along with a white gel pen highlight.  A green gingham ribbon was tied to coordinate with the tennis balls. :)

A Dog's Love....

Hello!
I have a new card today using Whimsy Stamp's new  Doggie Fun Times stamp. This little guy is so much fun with his tongue hanging out! I stamped it in a no line ink and used my Zig Clean Color Markers.  I fussy cut him out and set him aside.  The background was created using the Slimline Hearts Background Die.  I cut out a piece of heavy card stock and used the cut card stock as a stencil.
The Love Paw Word and Shadow die were used for my pup to lay on.  I popped up the paw print, added a coating of glossy accents, and when dry, added white gel pen highlights. I added a few gold sequins from the Champagne Confetti Mix.
Just a short post today! I'm on my last 4 weeks of school count down! :)
And a bridal shower too!
