I'm on a roll!

Here is another Crafty Secrets card! I am loving their products lately! Love all the vintage things! I started with a tag and spritzed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist. I stamped the bird and added a hint of color to his wings. The branches are by Autumn leaves. I used K & Company paper and some pretty ribbon. Does anyone know why my sewing machine is dropping stitches? You can see that I am missing some in this card! Any suggestions?

This card is great, love that stamp, sometimes it could hte that the tension is off on your machine.

My sewing machine is perfect with fabric but hates sewing on card stock. I tried changing the tension and all that, but didn't see much difference. Your card still looks cool though, even with the dropped stitches!

This is absolutely stunning, I love the colours and patterns and that gorgeous lace! i think dropped stitching is to do with the tension you could try changing the dial a number or two and test it on some scrap card. I try to only stitch on paper as it seems a bit kinder to the machine (once matted onto card it looks like you have stitched both). I know if you switch between fabric and paper the tension needs to be altered, your manual should explain how you can adjust this. Hope this helps!

Fabulous card!!! I dont know what could be wrong with your machine, maybe the timing could be out, mine was playing up and i left it in to get mended and getting it home today or tom {cant wait} mine was just stiching holes and the odd stitch was getting through. Hope you get it sorted :) xx

What a beautiful card. I never noticed the dropped stitches, lol. I guess I was too much in awe. I can't help you with the sewing part either, sorry.

Beautiful card. I wouldn't even have noticed the dropped stitches w/o you mentioning it. Sometimes I notice this when I need to adjust the tension.
You probably already know this, but I'm writing it anyway, NEVER use the machine through adhesive. Gunks up the machine.

Beautiful card!

Try stitching with an old dryer sheet under your cardstock. It will give the feed-dogs something to grab and you can cut away the dryer sheet. I say dryer sheet because most of us have used ones and it's cheaper than interfacing or stabilzer.
or
Could your machine use an oiling?
