Sewing Kit, Crafty Secret's Style!

I found these tiny sewing kits at a dime store near my house. I knew I had to pick a few up and alter them! The original top (Guess I should have taken a "before" pic!) had a landscape scene. I popped off that metal scene and covered it with SU! paper. I inked around the edges. I used Crafty Secret's Sew Special set for the spools of thread and zig zag stitch. I found these cute little buttons and gold scissors at the same dime store. It was a quick little project! Now I can throw this in my purse and never worry about losing a button again!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

What a cute idea...Very stlish..I am a sewer and quilter. What was the name of the dime store? Isn't it funny how we all look at things and think how we can alter it..My co workers are always bringing me things to alter..
